Tóm tắt

In a desolate future where humanity's disregard for the planet Earth had driven the goddess Gaia to her limits, an ordinary person named Rain found themselves inexplicably transported to another world called Manteria. This strange new realm, teeming with fantastical creatures and unbound by the laws of their former home, would become the ultimate testing ground for Rain's survival.

Chapter 1The Transfer

Rivers of chilled sweat cascaded down my face as I watched the relentless battle between my peculiar undead comrades and countless creatures from the heart of my fort.

"Kite the mini boss! Lure it away from the main boss so our dps can focus on taking it down!" The commanding voice echoed through the chaos, urging us to strategize and work together.

"The adds! Keep them at bay before they reach the fort! We cannot let them penetrate our defenses!" Another voice joined in, filled with urgency and determination.

"Easy for you to say! You get to pick off enemies from the safety of the wall. We have to risk our lives up close with these damn things!" A frustrated voice shouted back, met with a chorus of agreement.

"Enough with the bickering! We need to focus on defeating these monsters or we'll never complete this quest!" The authoritative tone cut through the heated arguments, reminding us of our ultimate goal.

Amidst all the chaos and commotion, I remained an observer. The events unfolding before me were a stark reminder of how this endless battle had begun in the first place.

As I sat in my cozy home, surrounded by shelves of quality novels that I had finally found after months of searching, a sudden burst of light and cold air engulfed me. Before I could even comprehend what was happening, I found myself standing in the middle of a snow-covered forest. Thankfully, there was some sort of shelter nearby, although it was barely standing. The small structure looked more like a decrepit hut than anything else.

Shaking off the shock and confusion, I quickly checked my appearance. Despite the sudden transportation, I still stood at six feet tall with my jet black hair and fair skin. A quick glance at the icy pond nearby confirmed that my eyes were still a piercing shade of gold. My name was still Rain, so at least my identity hadn't been altered.

But as I tried to gather my thoughts and make sense of this strange situation, a voice echoed in my mind - one that definitely wasn't my own.

[Welcome, inhabitants of Earth, to the enchanting world of Manteria. A place filled with peril, challenges, and the promise of great rewards. You have been brought here because your species was on a dangerous path towards destruction, and Gaea, the goddess of the Earth, could no longer stand idly by as you ravaged her land.

But fear not, for this may also be a chance at redemption for some. In Manteria, you will learn to defend and build up your own territory in order to fend off endless waves of creatures that threaten to invade. And while there are dangers lurking around every corner, there are also precious resources scattered throughout the world waiting to be discovered.

Each territory owner will receive a randomized skill and structure that will aid them in defending their land. But beware, these structures are not indestructible, so it would be wise to learn how the systems of this world work if you wish to survive. So go forth and explore this wondrous land, but know that luck alone will not guarantee your success in this unforgiving new world of Manteria.]

My mind was reeling as I tried to process the sudden turn of events that had thrust me into this new world. Without warning, a colorful screen materialized in front of me, its vibrant hues and flashing lights demanding my attention.

[Randomized skill generated. Skill Virtual Reality Maker [Legendary] generated. Random defender generated. Skeletons given. Basic graveyard has been built within the territory. Four day grace period given.]

With a sense of urgency, I rose from my seat and frantically attempted to access the system of this unknown world. In an instant, another screen appeared before me, almost as if it were waiting for my command. It glowed with an otherworldly light, inviting and yet intimidating at the same time.

Going into the skill section first allowed me to see further details on what in the world my skill would allow me to do.

Virtual Reality Maker [Legendary]: Allows the owner to create an interface for users of alternate realities to interact with in whatever form they decide to create it in. Requires a medium for the users to inhabit in order to interact with the virtual reality. Removes potential limits and natural weaknesses of the medium being inhabited. Does not allow the owner to grow stronger through the ability or other mediums. Skill will fill in blanks that fit based on what is initially given if needed.

I read over the description multiple times, searching for any limitations or restrictions. To my dismay, the glaring downside was that I couldn't use this ability to enhance my own strength. However, I remained hopeful that there were ways around this obstacle. The thought of creating a virtual reality game as immersive and advanced as those portrayed in popular novels sparked excitement within me. Without hesitation, I decided to give it a try.

Excitement bubbled within me as I considered the possibilities of my newfound skill. If this worked, I would have a huge advantage over my peers. Settling into my humble hut, I activated the skill and a new interface appeared before me. It demanded that I enter in my desires with only my imagination to guide me. My thoughts whirled as I tried to envision the perfect outcome. This was it - the moment that could change everything.

'I require a role-playing game system that is versatile and adaptable, with the ability to incorporate quests at any given moment. The progression should have no limits, allowing players to continuously level up and improve their characters. A diverse class system should be included, with increasingly rare classes to unlock as players advance in the game. Starting with the basics such as mage, warrior, healer, and rogue, players should eventually have access to more elite classes like paladin, archmage, light keeper, and assassin. These special classes should have unique unlocking conditions and offer even greater benefits than the standard path.

To enhance gameplay experience, an inventory system should be incorporated where players can store items without worrying about the effects of time passing. Additionally, there should be a quick equip feature for easy item management. Along with this main aspect of the game, side systems like crafting, gathering, fishing, and more should be included to add depth and variety to the overall gameplay experience.' I have provided as much detail as possible in my request, but it is important that I am not too vague in order to ensure the best possible outcome. As I finished relaying this information, another screen appeared before me on the interface.

[Implementing Creator Commands.]

[Researching role playing games based on creator's memories…]

[Research complete. Creating a base interface. Adding character creator, reducing customization due to medium being skeletons. Adding a Leveling system. Adding Classes, adding loot, and loot drops. Added respawn mechanic. Added Stamina, Added Hunger. Added Guilds.]

[Creating non-combat professions. Creating quests for unlocking professions. Adding build schematics. Added Currency. Creating a tutorial. Added inventory. Created base lore for game interface. Adding creator as main npc and gm. Adding the ability to create npcs. Created a game website. Making advertisements for the game. Added game streaming and internet access. Naming game: The Endless Waves.]

[Connecting to alternate realities to spread the game. Advertising game. Users will be able to join the 'Alpha Test' in an hour. Please setup the first scenario, Creator.]

As my mind was bombarded with a dizzying array of images and data on the numerous screens in front of me, I struggled to make sense of it all. My vision blurred as the screens continued to flicker, until finally they settled into a coherent display and presented a log of their processes. With a heavy sigh, I tore my eyes away from the screens and took in my surroundings. I found myself in a spacious clearing, surrounded by towering trees and a blanket of snow covering the ground.

A pulsating green barrier encircled the area, marking it as a safe haven during the grace period. The size of the space was comparable to that of an American football field. The snow underfoot was neither too compact nor too powdery, allowing me to move around effortlessly. Settling onto a nearby perch overlooking the graveyard, I gingerly interacted with the interface, eager to see what lay ahead

[Basic Graveyard: Allows the owner of the territory to summon up to 20 skeletons a day. Upgrading requires: Monsterbone 0/50, Wood 0/100]

I decided to have the overarching story center around defending me and the territory. Also for the first scenario would be to build up the territory and defend the first wave of enemies. The first thing I did was summon four skeletons. They were relatively unremarkable. Humanoid in nature, each of a different height, slightly different features, and pale white bones. I interacted with my skill to make each of them the npcs for the base classes of warrior, mage, rogue, and healer.
