Chapter 40 :- Wang Sheng's danger

Wang Sheng calmly looked at everyone, his eyes gratified seeing the reaction of his roommates.

"Okay, Save this emotional drama for later. Heal yourself first." Yang Kai snorted.

Wang Zheng nodded his head in embarrassment.

"First you need to calm down and stabilise your body and sublimate your thoughts. Focus on absorbing the medicinal essence in the pill. "

"Be careful while digesting the essence and not let your thoughts be distracted. This pill has high energy and essence if you're distracted during the absorption, you may burst due to overflowing essence as your physical body is too weak to handle the vast amount of pure spirit aura."

Yang Kai warned and reminded Wang Sheng.

Wang Sheng ate the pill after listening to Yang Kai's instructions.

He felt his wounds healing at a rapid rate visible to naked eyes. Seeing this scene all the boys in the dormitory were astonished, they had never seen such a miracle in front of their own eyes.

The boys were happy seeing their boss's wounds getting healed, at the same time their minds also relaxed, due to the fragrance of the pill.

They started discussing among themselves.

Wang Sheng got dazed seeing his wounds getting healed at a rapid pace.

"Young Master is so kind to give me such an invaluable pill. I can't think, of how to repay this favour. " Wang Sheng thought in his mind.

While Wang Sheng was lost in his thoughts, the seventh dormitory was in commotion.

"What!!! Unbelievable!! my soul power just increased from 7 to 8"

suddenly a young fat boy of around 10 years of age shouted in excitement.

Listening to the boy's reaction everyone were astonished, their attention was drawn towards the fat boy.

While everyone was discussing a "Whooshhh!!" sound occurred followed by another.....

Everyone looked around to see what happened, but to their astonishing gaze, 3 people suddenly broke through their spirit ranks by 1 level.

Those three boys were pleasantly surprised and became happy about their sudden promotion in rank.

Everyone present in the seventh dormitory was shocked by the current turn of events.

All of them knew their limits and prospect.

With their talents below average and mediocre, innate spirit power being a low and martial spirit being of common types, their future achievements would be limited to just around level 20 soul master.

But now that they all got promoted by a rank all of a sudden they were genuinely happy, as it may take them years of cultivation to increase their soul power by a rank.

As they were discussing among themselves, they knew it was all thanks to this handsome and domineering young man that they could increase a level in their rank so quickly.

Though they knew all of their breakthroughs was brought by the rich aroma of the pill which Yang Kai gave to Wang Sheng.

They were not greedy but only had slight regret as to why it was not them to fight Yang Kai. If they would have fought Yang Kai then they could have had this once in a lifetime chance.

But there's no medicine for regret!!!

Nevertheless, they were still happy for Wang Sheng who was their boss and protected them from other rich students who used to bully them all these years. As such everyone agreed that Wang Sheng deserved the pill the most.

While all the other students were discussing among themselves, Wang Sheng was currently engrossed in a peaceful feeling, all his wounds have basically healed but were still in a trance. He felt something within him changing but he couldn't grasp that feeling. It was as if coming and going.

"Whoosh! "

All of a sudden the spirit energy in the atmosphere condensed towards Wang Sheng creating a mini whirlpool.

The students were discussing, suddenly they noticed some abnormalities as the spirit energy in their surroundings concentrated becoming pure and rich.

"What happened? Why do I feel dizzy and heaviness all of a sudden." asked some students as they felt confused by the sudden changes.

(i.e - Their bodies were mediocre and couldn't absorb more spirit energy because of their spirit channel in their body being thin.)

(Spirit channel is similar to meridians of a human, circulates spirit energy)

while they were confused one student looked towards Wang Sheng and got astonished,

"What's happening to boss?!"

Wang Sheng's spirit energy was increasing at a rapid rate from 11.....11½...12...12½.... 13...

Wang Sheng was dumbfounded and excited by such a rapid increase in his spirit power, never did he imagine in his life such progress.

His heart was beating faster at a rapid pace gaining this newfound power.

Just when he thought that his promotion has come to an end, a violent surge of spirit power erupted, filling up every spirit channel in his body.

His body started swelling at a rapid pace, his arms and muscles bulged out, veins popped out in every place in his limbs.

Currently, Wang Sheng was in huge pain, as his body and spirit channels overflowed with spirit energy. He clenched his teeth bearing the pain, muscles and ligaments in his body started tearing apart and blood oozed out.

"Aaaaaarrrrrrrrghhhhhh!!! "

Wang Sheng hissed loudly, his voice hoarse as if he was cruelly tormented.

Everyone became worried over the sudden change in Wang Sheng's condition.

Just when two boys were about to save Wang Sheng, a pair of sturdy hands grabbed them, preventing them from moving any further.

Those two boys were overwhelmed by the sudden force of Yang Kai's grip.

Turning around they saw Yang kai holding them.

Everyone frowned seeing Yang kai preventing them from approaching Wang Sheng.

Although they were dissatisfied with Yang kai's action they didn't dare voice it out because they were not his match at all.

Yang Kai didn't mind their sceptical gaze but replied calmly,

"Wang Sheng did not have enough concentration while absorbing the spirit power and was distracted by his sudden rise in spirit power. If you all interfere now, you all will put him in greater danger," replied Yang Kai.

"So, if you want to save your friend just stand obediently, your ignorance could have proved fatal to him. "

Listening to Yang Kai's explanation they all believed it subconsciously and were sweating profusely, as their actions could have brought fatal harm to Wang Sheng.
