Chapter 17 :- Luring the snake out

" Huh?! How come all the turtles and rabbits are gone? "

When Yang Kai intended to eat the wild game he (mostly tens of years spirit beasts) had hunted to appease his hunger , he found that all the games except for the vipers and scorpion like spirit beasts, in his backpack were gone, making him dumbfounded.

It was midnight when Yang Kai began practice, it would be impossible for someone to go uphill in the middle of the night. Those rabbits and turtles also had been tied with Yang Kai's special technique, so he ruled out them escaping out.

After having been struck with a short thrill , Yang Kai quickly calmed himself down , while there was a trace of bittersweet expression in his eyes.

Had it been ordinary people, they would have thought that the mountain top was haunted and be scared shitless, wetting their pants and running down the mountain top while weeping and wailing.

But Yang Kai was not an ordinary person to begin with. He had been living and cultivating in the 3000 worlds for more than 7000 years, and had fought the black-ink invasion war alongside the human and divine spirits for more than 4000 years, finally single hand-dly changing the course of battle - giving time for human race to develop.

His heroic deeds of single hand-dly entering and destroying the enemy base, to finally defeating millions of black ink army and destroying their supreme Mo are feats not even extraordinary powerhouses of advanced universes could achieve.

After calming down his mind and soul, Yang Kai's sense was strengthened by more than 10 folds. He had been passively practicing heavenly art of cosmic Genesis for more than a week, resulting in his sensing ability to be strengthened and was more than 100 times stronger compared to ordinary person. His senses were 100 times stronger and nothing could escape Yang Kai's eyes and ears.

When Yang Kai realized that his game were gone , he didn't even notice it at all. So this explained that the one who snatched his games were neither human nor a wild animal but a spirit beast that have cultivated.

Instead of going after the spirit beast he started collecting some dry brunches and woods.

It the days that followed he did nothing but gather some wild games again and made some seasonings, collected some dry firewoods .

" Oh , you'll soon see it. " replied Yang Kai

Two days passed quickly. On the third day ,

Yang Kai didn't immediately set out to find whether the soul beast came to break the ban in medicine garden, but he picked up some dry branches and wood from the roadside grove and burned it. He then leisurely started to roast the games.

In his 8000 years of life in the 3000 World, Yang Kai not only had reached the ultimate perfection in cultivation, but he was also gifted in other aspects such as alchemy, formation arrays, refining tools and devices, drawing magic symbols, and other academic or artistic attainments. He had acquired and practiced all 3000 grand daos to 8th level** ,with the exception of space and time which he cultivated to the very peak of existence ( i.e 9th level**) of his universe.All in all, he had mastered those fields at an equal expertise degree, making it impossible for anyone to catch up to him. 10 minutes later, a tempting aroma emitted out from the stick that forked the vipers in Yang Kai's hands.

Yang Kai didn't hurry to eat it, but he took out salt, seasonings, cumin powder, and 13 types of spice from his backpack, collected in these three days, as he skillfully sprinkled the seasonings above the snake meat.

Along with the snakeskin being bloomed and popped, the white and tender snake meat's color slowly turned into a golden yellow as the meat flavor in the air became richer.

Suddenly, Yang Kai heard a loud sound that broke out of nowhere, as his nose smelled a foul and bad stench of fumes at the same time.

"Evil creature! I've long been waiting for you!" Yang Kai seemed to have long been anticipating such a scene. He quickly rolled down his body to the front and avoided to get sneak-attack from behind, as he kicked a pile of burning charcoals and overwhelmingly poured it away in a torrent toward the direction behind his body.

This system, which measures an Open Heaven Stage cultivator's attainment/strength in a particular Grand Dao, has 9 Levels. It was founded by Yang Kai

𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 1 :- 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙧𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙚 - This level equates to a cultivator gaining sensibility toward and practicing a new Grand Dao.

𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 2 :- 𝙄𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙮 - Generally, this is the minimum level of a cultivator who has gained sufficient sensibility toward their Grand Dao to condense a Dao Seal.

𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 3 :- 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 - One who has promoted to Open Heaven Stage should at least be around this level in their primary Grand Dao.

𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 5 :- 𝘼𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙖 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙮

𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 6 :- 𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜

𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 7 :- 𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 - These cultivators have developed their attainments on a particular Grand Dao to extraordinary heights, leaving them with very few rivals in this respect

𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 8 :- 𝙃𝙖𝙨 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙖𝙘𝙡𝙚 - These cultivators have reached the known peak of a particular Grand Dao.

𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 9 :- 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙖𝙯𝙯𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩 - This is the level of one who has surpassed the attainments of all who have historically practiced a particular Grand Dao.
