Chapter 11

'I think they found out about our plan'.

Pollux said feeling a little despaired because he thought he was finally going to be free today

And why was he feeling this way, because right now something unimaginable was right in front of him and he could not but feel like it was a trap

And what was happening you might ask well when they got to the entrance which is also the exit, the gate which was always locked was open at the moment

So he thought it was one of the guards new way of torturing him by giving him hope before brutally snatching it away 

But once again Cosmos comes to the rescue

"Look at you, acting all scared and behaving like a dick".

"Get your shit together and take us out of here or we might be locked here till we die".

And besides if it is really a trap then so what, I thought you were prepared for the worst".

"It seems like you are all talk, maybe you are not yet mature enough to take decisions for us".

Cosmos kept on "motivating" Pollux to brave up and just leave because although it is very possible that it was a trap, there was still a chance that the guards forgot to lock the gate no matter how small that chance seemed

So he took it upon himself to get them out of this mess because believe it or not Pollux has not had enough life experiences to toughen him up 

And so Pollux walked out of the cave feeling that Cosmos was right, it was either today or never and he was not going to let anyone stop them except he was dead

So with new found determination, he walked out of the cave and decided to look for a place that was scarce as that was the way for them to begin their escape 

"I am happy to see that you listened to my advice, you can see the evidence now your body is much stronger than those of your peers".

Cosmos started talking so Pollux would not focus on the pain because although they did not beat him that much today, he was a young lad and the people who were beating him were all adults

Coupled with the fact that they had been beating him practically everyday and only sparing him when he was unable to take any more, so he was badly bruised all over every step he took left him wincing from pain

"Well how could I not, you have been shouting iny ear ever since I was young and telling me to do those ridiculous exercises that make me almost pass out from exhaustion everyday".

"Young ones have no respect this days, if only you knew how valuable that training is".

"Let me tell you something, you cannot repay me for it even if you pay me with your life so you should be happy".

"And what greater privilege is there than being granted the honor of calling yourself my only student".

Cosmos said feeling happy whenever he remembers how much fun he had training this stubborn brat

And it really worked because although he is not as big as most of the guys around he can certainly pack a punch, a lot of think people mistake him as weak because first of all he does not have big muscles like the normal 'strong' men 

And secondly he always finishes his training right before work starts in the morning so he is very spent during that period of time, because of that a lot of guards classify him as weak

That is also part of the reason why his boss was happy to let him go, because he felt the boy was apparently useless since he cannot even work properly

But unknowingly to them, the so called weak boy was inching closer to his escape.
