Tasha's cousin

Ghost didn't waste any time, she went on ahead to execute her first assignment and that was to visit officer Maga.

(Knocking on the door) "Come in," said the officer looking in the direction of the entrance.

Ghost entered feeling a bit nervous because she didn't want the officer to notice that she wasn't the same person as the one he saw last time and also her cheeks were quite swollen She had tried to apply some makeup but that could only cover the marks of her fingers that were on the cheeks.

(Faking a smile and sitting down) "Officer Maga, how are you, Sir? My apologies for visiting you out of the blue, but I have some information that I want to ask you."

"Oh don't worry about it dear you are welcome. I am doing very well thanks and you?. I am so glad to help tell me how can I be of help?

(Sitting down) "Thank you I am doing well too. Officer, I guess you still remember my sister Tasha Naro, right?"

(Thinking out loud) "Tasha Naro, Tasha Naro, uh, the name sounds familiar..."

"The one that got drunk and had a fight at a bar, then you let her go..."

"Oh! Yeah, I remember her now, what would you like to know?"

"Yeah, that day I didn't ask you much I was quite confused and a bit startled, I would like to know which bar you found her. My family would like to formally apologize for the inconvenience caused.

"Well, that is a good thing to do, if I still remember it was at Night Owl bar and club."

(Smiling) "Thank you so much for the information officer, I won't waste your time anymore, I will take my leave now."

"Very well then, if you say so I will not say much but if anything happens (handing her his card), you can dial the emergency number or call me direct and I will be so glad to help."

"That is so kind of you officer, I will call you if anything like this happens again."

(Sounding friendlier than before) "No, no don't mention it, it's part of our job, to look out for the women that we have in the community. By the way, I wanted to ask about your friend a little but it's okay maybe next time."

(Standing) "Next time indeed officer, bye for now."

After leaving officer Maga's office she was so relieved that everything went so well, after a few minutes she received a call from Anne.

"Ghost how did it go?"

"Night Owl club and bar."

"Very good, call Hacker to accompany you there, I am going to inform the owner of the Night Owl that you will be coming."

"On it boss," she said and Anne hung up.

After the call, she called Hacker just as per instruction and they agreed to meet at the parking lot of the club. On her way, Anne had called to confirm that the owner had given them a go-ahead. They met and got into the bar and checked the cameras, only to realize that they were tampered with and Hacker managed to retrieve all the information that was deleted.

(Hacker is one of the best people in Midnight when it comes to retrieving information and anything that has to do with hacking information, everything that is digital is not safe whenever he is around. He is always upgrading his skills so that as times and technology advance, he won't be behind or found lacking.)

After getting what they needed they then both went back to meet Anne at doctor Flo's house.

"Long time no see, Hacker."

(Showing respect) "THE MIDNIGHT IS THE DARKEST MOMENT OF THE NIGHT, THE MOST SACRED TIME, EVEN THE SUN CAN'T STAND THE MIDNIGHT, IT IS STRONG ENOUGH TO SWALLOW AND BLIND EVERYTHING, WHEN THE MIDNIGHT ARRIVES ALL ENEMIES MUST FLEE. I HACKER WELCOME THE MIDNIGHT."

(Nodding and smiling) "Hacker is well received, you may sit down, and let's get straight into business."

They all set down and Hacker began to explain the information that he had retrieved from the cameras.

"I will start with what I retrieved from the hospital cameras. The same day that Tasha was admitted, two people were also admitted. One of them had puked at the front desk and the other was brought in by an ambulance, seems like he was involved in some sort of accident. The weird thing is that the same doctor that was attending to Tasha is the same that attended to the two patients that had just arrived too. The following day, when everyone was busy exchanging shifts, signing in and signing out, that same doctor managed to give the two patients nurse uniforms and some disguises that made them fit in and not easily recognized. The one that puked is the one that injected Tasha with another dose of poison and also changed her blood bags. The one that stole all the O-negative blood bags that were in the storage is the one who was brought in by the ambulance. The two managed to do this with the help of the doctor because he was always accompanying them and he acted like he is so busy and getting some assistance from the two guys. Another thing, since he is a top doctor and also well-respected nobody bothered to notice that something was amiss. After they were done, that doctor quickly discharged them, with the help of another nurse (a real nurse not an imposter) they made reports for them that stated that they were okay and were free to go. I managed to trace that they had a hacker who is a nurse (not an imposter) who was waiting in the underground parking lot and that person is the one that was taking care of the cameras and made sure nothing looks out of place. Also, with the help of the top doctor, they managed to erase all the information that had to do with them. Another thing they were also careful enough to calculate the minutes whenever the visible cameras change their angles so that their faces wouldn't be captured, but they couldn't avoid the private ones. With the help of the top doctor, they exited through the door written 'NO EXIT', and though it seems like there are no cameras on that side there are those which are private. If my guess is right, I think nobody thought of looking into them because no one has ever used the 'NO EXIT' way also since all the cameras didn't show anything wrong also only an expert would be able to notice that something wasn't right about the cameras on the first glance and I think they are still investigating about it. From the information that I got from our plant (plant means, someone, that Midnight secretly sent to do an investigation), the 'NO EXIT' door leads to some parts of the hospital's privacy as well as the underground parking lot and the nurse that was in charge of taking care of the cameras is the one that took the two guys home…"

(Trying to contemplate) "Sorry to interrupt, but I need to follow because I can't get any sense out of this. The doctors that took care of Tasha are Scar and Ed. Scar is the first one and Ed is the one that took over so which one are you talking about also why would a top doctor risk his all just to see his patient dead?" Asked Ghost who was trying to get a full and reasonable picture out of all that had been said.

"It's the first doctor and that is doctor Scar whom I have been talking about," said Hacker.

(Crossing her legs ) "Looks like the slaps didn't wake you up at all Ghost, for someone who is my cousin and second in power you just happened to become slow why?" Said Anne with a stern face and a tone that would scare anyone not used to it.

(Kneeling) "I HAVE FAILED THE MIDNIGHT AND I AM WILLING TO TAKE ANY PUNISHMENT." Said Ghost still kneeling with her head bowed down.

(Angry, raising her left eyebrow) "What other punishment except breaking your legs or sending you to hell? Anyway, I will let this skip for now, but you should be ahead with everything you know it, if you snooze you lose, if you repeat this, I am going to give you our poison keep that in mind (Midnight's poison is called STARS because it's a mixture of a lot of the rarest poisons, it was created to use when torturing enemies. Because it contains so many poisons, its effects are in stages, the pain increases as the stages increase but that doesn't mean stage one is not painful. The pain of stage one is more than labor pains, there are twenty stages and each stage has got its antidote which is only found in the Midnight group nowhere else) As for your punishment you may keep on kneeling until the meeting is over," she said without feeling any remorse.

(Looking at Hacker) "Is that all about the hospital?"

(With no fear or minding what had just happened) "That is all from the hospital cameras, I have sent all the information to Kali so that she can do a thorough background check on all the people involved (Kali is also another best hacker but she loves collecting personal information of their targets, she can know anything that she wants to know without any hurdles)."

"Very good, as for the question that Ghost asked earlier, doctor Scar's surname is Naro. He is Tasha's cousin, though not as close as other cousins but he is her cousin, they share the same blood."

Both Hacker and Ghost were dumbfounded, they couldn't believe what their ears were hearing. They wanted to ask why a cousin would want to stain his hands with another cousin's blood but they were scared to do so.

(Looking at both of them) "I know what's going through your mind right now, but I will give the honor to doctor Scar to give us the answers we all need once we get him. I do have some of the answers but talking about it now will make me go crazy and I might end up lashing at you guys. Let's talk about what you retrieved from the Night Owl cameras," she said changing the subject.
