Danger visits Maya Gains

"Okay that's it, for now, you may brief me more later, since you don't like the sight of blood I need you to delegate something to Danger (She is at par with Ghost when It comes to skills meaning when Ghost cannot do a mission sending Danger makes no difference). Tell her to give Stars to Maya, she has to warn her never to do any shady businesses in the future, also she has to make her just peep into the entrance of hell but don't make her die. I don't want her kids to become orphans."

"Won't that alert the enemy if Maya happens to speak about it?"

"Well, that is exactly what I want, that way we might get to know who the person in the shadows is, and also that might send a message to Ed in case he thought you were pulling his leg last night."

"That is killing many birds with one stone, okay on it boss," said Ghost as she left to ring Danger on an untraceable phone.

After receiving the mission Danger went on to ask more about Maya Gains went on to gather some Midnight members who would help her take care of the cameras and also gathered the necessary tools to help her break in without getting noticed as well as not leaving traces behind. She also decided to spend the whole morning and afternoon watching all of Maya's movements as well as running a thorough observation of her place. On the other hand, after having lunch Anne went to sit on the same couch in the same position just as before and so did Ghost and they went on with the briefing.

"The nurse who helped with the cameras and transporting the other two guys is Martin Leather. He is 6'1 tall, has dark brown eyes, and has short black hair. He lives at 62 Maze Street, 33 Close way Road. He had always wanted to be an IT expert but his parents were against the idea so he was forced to either be a doctor or something in the health sector and he ended up a nurse. However, he secretly pursued his passion and he is quite a master in IT almost close to Hacker. He spends most of his time at home I guess enhancing his skills and doing other things that have to do with IT. He is not yet married and doesn't have a girlfriend; he is also 26 years old."

"That Leather guy seems to be a nerd, anyway, any information about his family?" Asked Anne.

"No nothing, from what Kali gathered it seems like he buried that information," said Ghost.

"Then that means he is into more shady businesses and the hospital one wasn't the first (chuckling) and I'm afraid it's going to be the last. Now let's wait to hear from doctor Ed and Danger. Also, inform our Plants (members of Midnight that are secretly put in various sectors) to keep a close eye on every move of these guys. (Smirking) Even if they all get out of this country, I will hunt them down and bring them back so that they won't miss THE MIDNIGHT PARTY."

Ghost left the house and visited every person that they had planted in all sectors that they could. She didn't want to do it over the phone because she wanted to make sure that all her instructions were heard loud and clear and also, she wanted to check how everyone had been doing and also if they had any complaints or queries. Also, messages that are delivered face to face are very safe than those that are conveyed over the phone. On the other hand, Maya was on duty from the morning that day and her shift was going to finish around 9 pm. From Danger's observations and analysis, it was possible that around midnight she and her kids would be all deep asleep. The breaking in part was easy as cutting butter with a hot knife for her. She used to be a locksmith before joining the Midnight group and she taught Ghost some of her skills.

Around 11.30 pm, a black van was parked two meters away from Maya's residence. In that van, was also Hacker who was taking care of all the street cameras as well as those that were in Maya's house. It was only the two of them in that van and at the back, were the tools necessary for the job to be done. There was another team that was watching them from their Midnight second private base, this team was watching out for any dangers or any police officers that might happen to bump into them. Midnight on the dot, Danger got out of the house and she managed to get into Maya's house. The entrance door led to the kitchen, then followed by an entrance that didn't have a door, which led into the lounge, then some stairs led to some rooms that were up. Danger proceeded to go upstairs and from the look of things there were two rooms upstairs, one had kids' stickers on the door and another did not, and it was clear that's the one Maya was sleeping in. Danger tried to open the door and fortunately, it opened without making any noise. She quietly walked toward Maya's bed and reached towards where her head was.

(Tapping her shoulder) "Hey, hey, wake up…"

(Sounding very sleepy, eyes still closed) "Hmm…"

(Giving her a hot slap on the cheek) "Arise and shine you idiot…"

(Startled and confused) "WHO, WHO ARE YOU," she said holding her cheek, and looking at Danger with eyes wide open and trying to gather her senses and also think of an escape plan.

She was so shocked to see a person, dressed in all black, her face looked like it was covered with a mask. She could notice these details because of the light of the moon that penetrated her room through the glass door which led to the room's balcony. The other party didn't answer she just got close, grab both her cheeks and pressed them so hard that it forced her to open her mouth unwilling. Danger went on and poured all the contents that were in the bottle that she held with her left hand. Maya gulped almost all of it though some leaked from the sides of her mouth. Although she tried to resist, the more she did so the more the liquid went down her throat. After she was done, Danger then let her go.

(Coughing and trying to catch her breath) "Who are you and what are you doing in my house?"

(Sitting on a small stool that Maya uses whenever she does her makeup) "(Changing the pitch and tone of her voice) I'm your nemesis and any sound from you that will wake the kids or your neighbors then you will kick the bucket sooner than expected. Do you hear me?"

(No answer)

Maya didn't answer because she was so much confused, she thought everything was a dream and couldn't gather herself to grasp the events that were occurring right in front of her eyes.

(Slapping her back to reality) "I said did you hear what I said."

(Holding her cheek again, tearing and her voice breaking) "Ye…ye…yes, w…what…ca…can…I do for y…you. I don't have money,(speaking fast) I can give you anything, if it's drugs I can get them for you, please don't hurt me I have children." She finished saying that with a sob.

(Clicks her tongue) "You should have thought about that before the day you became an accomplice of Scar…"

"Huh!" said Maya.

"Shshshsh, lower your voice, you will wake the kids. Anyway, I'm not here for any question-and-answer session. What you just drank is one of the deadliest poisons. It usually acts up after 48 hours but since you like playing games I have added a catalyst and in about 30 minutes, you will start singing so many songs for me(chuckling) I mean songs of pain."

(Scared) "Songs of pain, what do you mean?"

"Patience, dear patience," said Danger as she stood straight looking in Maya's direction with her arms wrapped around her.

"By the way Maya, if you do not want to see me again you have to refrain from all your shady businesses okay. You are a mother so just mind your business and take care of your kids. These businesses you are doing will not only affect you but…"

Danger didn't manage to finish what she wanted to say, Maya began to roll on the bed, then followed by groaning non-stop.

(Smiling) "Exactly that is more like it, I know it's going to be painful; you are only allowed to groan but do not shout or scream otherwise I guess you know."

Danger went back and sat on the stool, Maya couldn't stop groaning, she wanted to scream and shout because the pain felt like one who was in labor but she remembered Danger's warning. She only managed to put her hand on her mouth to stop herself from making any loud sound. With time the pain increased, tears coming out of her eyes, the pain felt like her stomach was twisting and turning, combined with the pain same as that of someone having contractions, Next, she started feeling like something was draining her power, all her energy was leaving her, then followed by losing her breath and yet the previous pains didn't stop it was like the pains were adding on top of another. Then seizures followed, after seizures she began to foam.

(Relaxed) "Ah, that was so quick, I don't usually do these missions but honestly I am enjoying myself, and now it's about time we move to the good part," Said Danger.

After her words Maya began to vomit blood, it was too much and some of it came out in clots. Then after vomiting blood for 10 minutes, she went quiet and she was no longer moving.

(Smiling) "Exactly the moment that I have been waiting for, anyway, I will wait for a few minutes, I just need you to greet the devil a bit then I will help you out, I hope next time you won't repeat this." Said Danger with her legs crossed and her arms folded.

After some minutes, Danger then opened another bottle and took a new sterilized injection she put the antidote inside and injected it into Maya. She injected her four times then she started pressing on her chest like the one who was giving first aid, but Maya didn't respond.
