Tea Party

After Orion explained to Sylvie his change in appearance by using a fake story about a cure that is slowly healing his body, he sends her rest to her room because it was hard for her to be with him in one room and not get "excited".

He and Uriel were now seated in a sizable, luxurious room that Lord Theodor had given to him.

"So what do you think about him?" Orion asked while eating the pudding that the maid brought to him in case he is hungry

Uriel immediately understood who is he talking about.

"He is talented for a human, I think he will be able to reach the rank of grandmaster with proper training," Uriel said in her usual emotionless voice

"And what did you see with your 'eyes' ?"

"His devotion to you is for some reason really big..as if he is obsessed but there are also other people in his heart. I don´t think we should bring him with us." Uriel said in a cold voice

Although she saw that his devotion towards Orion is pure. He was after all only human. It's in human nature to change their opinions, and feelings like socks. One day human adores and worship you and other is aiming at your life calling you a monster.

'It was the same back then..' Uriel unintentionally remembered unpleasant memory from the past and felt a surge of intense negative emotion coming at once.

Her golden eyes shone brightly and a golden aura started leaking from her body without her realizing it.

Suddenly she felt a warm hand on her head patting her.

Without making any sound Orion appeared behind her floating a few centimeters above ground and started gently patting her head.

She felt the warmth of his hand and her negative emotion slowly melting away like ice under rays of the sun.

'Even a pervert like her has her own darkness huh' Orion thought to himself when he remembered the killing intent she unconsciously emitted

"Calmed down?" Orion asked teasingly

"Uhm" Uriel nodded with a surprisingly shy voice and red cheeks

Orion was slightly surprised by the surprise attack of cuteness from someone like Uriel but quickly controlled his emotions and calmed dawn,

"Ehm...I just like I told you I have for work you."

He then took out from his black ring one piece of paper and an envelope sealed with purple magical magical power

"Go to the black market and buy things written on the list..and give this envelope to the receptionist in the dark guild"

Uriel took things he gave her and created a square-shaped golden rift in the space and put items here.

It was Angel´s version of the item box [Personal Void].

"For who is this letter?" Uriel glared at Orion

He didn´t have anyone to send a letter to because she already know he has no friends! And if he wanted to send something to his 'family' he would use crystal. It only can mean one thing.

'He is planning something..'

"Hehe, really none..." He faked laughter and everted her gaze

She was sure that something is off.

"Oh, Really Mr. Ast-" She got pissed off and decided to use her trump card.

The only thing that gave her power to control him under special circumstances. it couldn´t be used too often since he would get used to embarrassment. But in rare moments like this, it was the scariest weapon.

"It's for Underworld king just stop.." Orion at the speed of light appeared before her and covered her mouth.

His face was red and his breathing was rough. He looked like a teenager whose mom found his secret porn stash

Uriel widely smiled at this sight. It was a great feeling seeing him this frustrated after all things he did to her when he got bored or just to try how far he can go until her patience ran out...she was hopeless since she couldn´t defeat him in the dream dimension even if she wanted. Until she found 'that'.

"Lord Archangel perhaps you got embarrassed over such a little thing hahaha?" Her emotionless face disappeared like a lie and changed to the demon that enjoyed teasing the little boy in front of her

After a few minutes of constant teasing, she calmed down and returned to her usual self.

' He will probably pay me back with 10 fold of his embarrassment but...it was worth it!!'

"But why would you need to contact the underworld king? I thought we are leaving the kingdom.." Uriel asked clearly confused. Orion explained her part of his plan. After dealing with things here they should go north.

"Huh? Of course just to piss him off??" Orion titled his head as if angering the most powerful person in the underworld was the most obvious thing to do.

The underworld king is the owner of the Dark guild that controls the underworld. Drugs, black markets, slaves, brothels, and many other illegal businesses are under him. It's rumored he is a Saint rank fighter that could overthrow the kingdom if he wanted with his power.

If grandmasters were the peak of the human race then Saints were people that overcame their racial limits and become something else...something more.

Underworld king is someone that even the king needs to treat with respect if he doesn't want war

Sigh

Uriel sighted and coldly looked at Orion. Even though he should know that even both of them together couldn´t stand a chance against the saint, he still chose to anger such a person just for his amusement.

" I'm going..are you really sure about that letter?"

Uriel asked one more time with the hope he changed his mind

"Yup...don´t worry it will be amusing later"

She accepted defeat because she already know that none except one person in the whole world can change his mind when he decided on something..after all, she didn´t spend all these years with him for anything, she slightly bowed and silently vanished from his room.

"Do you like this strawberry cake? It's my favorite" an old man with a kind smile asked

"Yes, I never eat better strawberry cake uncle Theo" Orion replied with a kind smile and cream on his mouth.

"Haha I´m glad you like it"

The next day Lord Theodore invited Orion to Tea Party.

He ordered cooks to bake all kinds of desserts sweets and cakes for Orion.

After they talked for a while and got closer Lord Theodor allowed Orion to call him uncle and Orion accepted his kindness. Two of them were sitting in the beautiful garden drinking tea and eating sweets now for more than 3 hours but there was no uncomfortable silence like one would expect from two people with such a large age gap.

Only laughter echoed through the garden as both of them were enjoying a tea party together.

If strangers saw this scene they would think that it's just a caring grandfather spending time with his lovely grandson.

"I must thank you, Orion, I didn´t laugh like this for a very long time." Lord Theodor said with a somehow nostalgic expression

"I really enjoy being with uncle too so you don´t need to thank me," Orion said with a smile that would make a grown man cry

"I wanted to talk to you about something..there is a small problem. Many nobles come to this city to see you and a few even demanded audience with you. I refused all of them but there is a limit to what I can do with my rank" he said with a worried voice

"Is there a way I can help you, uncle?" Orion asked innocently

"I thought about hosting a banquette with you as the main guest. But I don´t want to trouble you with politics. Children should enjoy their youth while adults should handle everything other."

Orion stopped eating and put a somehow serious expression on his face that turned out to be more cute than serious

"I want to help uncle...I don´t know much about these complicated things but I know that these people are here because of me.."

"So please let me help you uncle!!"

"Orion you really..." Theodore wiped a small tear from his eye and patted Orion's head with a moved expression

He felt his heart calming down when he was with this boy.

"Don´t worry your uncle will take care of everything!!! I will make the best banquette and ensure that none would make you feel uncomfortable or be rude towards you!!"

While Theodore kept talking about how great a ball he will be made, small mischievous that didn´t suit Orion's current appearance appeared on his face.

'We have villain....and stage prepared, we just need the heroine to arrive'
