Plot Armor = OP

Alex did not know how he managed to make it back to Dal's place. He was bleeding quite profusely, and was severely concussed by the batons. He had several broken bones, including at least three ribs, and was only kept alive by the sheer amount of rage he currently felt, and the adrenaline that flowed through his veins because of it.

Eventually, Alex and Dal arrived at the girl's house. Where she immediately ran inside to get the help of her mother. The woman took one look at Alex and decided to call an ambulance. But her daughter stopped her.

"No mom! You can't! They will arrest him!"

Dal's mother looked at the girl with a look of concern, but Dal briefly explained what had happened. All the while, the two of them carried Alex to the guest room, where they lay him down on the bed. Luckily for Alex, Dal's mother was an ER doctor, and thus she had experience treated people with near-death injuries.
