VIGGO - ING. VERSION

Viggo, son of Hephaestus (Goddess of forging in Orario) and Kain (Ancient Scion of Balance), was born as a demi-god. However, with a defeat and the inability to strive for a goal in life, he is sent to train with a furious master. Accompany Viggo on his path to becoming a god. "Don't be sorry, be better". This fanfic was born as a Spin-Off of the Original fanfic "Suerte y Perseverancia" also written by me and currently in broadcast. Clarifications: I have been accused of being sadistic with my readers, but I will deny such observations. What happens is that I don't give all things on a silver platter to my protagonists; everything is won. On the other hand, sometimes it just happens that situations do not go as you want. However, that is where the magic of a protagonist lies, in knowing how to move within the parameters and look for solutions with the tools he already has. Believe me, I will never screw my protagonists if it is not to make them better and more powerful. PS: THE IMAGE IS ONLY REFERENTIAL.

Deity 2.326 - Final Chapter

Viggo and Kiara appeared at the top of the tower of Babel as the sun set on the horizon leaving a trail of reddish light.

Viggo was dressed in dwarf royal armor. The turquoise crystalline surface reflected the last rays of the sun. Viggo wore his red hair loose and long to his shoulders. Thanks to the strong wind that ran at the top of the tower his hair fluttered.

On the other hand, the primordial, Kiara, was dressed in the black habit of a nun and a veil that covered her hair revealing her beautiful face. Her habit was opened by the slit that went down from her hip to the bottom. Her well-contoured leg was exposed. She walked up to Viggo, took his hand, and stood silently looking at the horizon.

Viggo with his two meters tall, a sturdy body from training and dwarf royal armor looked like a giant while Kiara with a little more than one meter with seventy-a slender body, looked delicate.

Before them stretched the city of Orario. On the right was the blacksmith district, in the center the avenue that cut the city in half and led them from the tower to the southern gate of the walled city. On the left side were the houses, but as they advanced east, they lost beauty, height and left a neglected region. It was the region of Dedalus. Of that region the only thing that stood out were its convoluted streets like a labyrinth and the large entertainment area in the center. Where a little goddess named Ishtar had created her kingdom of pleasure in three oversized towers. Around the entertainment district there were only small houses made of wood and poorly maintained. It was the main area where thugs roamed and most of the illegal business was conducted. Viggo had fought that area in the past as a child and had almost been killed. There he had known defeat, the painful reality of people without discipline and determination. It was a turning point in his life that led him to be disciplined and educated differently. Now that he is an adult and about to become a god, he thanks his father, mother, and grandfather for taking him to train in another land. Without that valuable life experience, he would never have reached this point in his life. He would never have met Kratos, Faye, Atreus, Kiara, Sakura, Ana, Semiramis, Scheherezade and so many others.

Viggo raised his left hand covered by the turquoise gauntlet with gold edges. He opened and closed his hand. Without all those experiences, he would never have known how strong he could become.

—Are you ready?— asked Kiara.

Viggo looked to his right, he had to lower his gaze so he could look Kiara in the face. She was dressed in the black habit and the veil over her head —yes, I'm ready. Can I ask you something?—

Kiara showed a small smile and nodded.

—You can wear the clothes you were wearing when we first met—

Kiara gave a melodious chuckle. She let go of Viggo's hand, stepped back, and closed her eyelids as her clothes glowed fuchsia. The energy was rising from her body as if they were cherry petals that were blown away by the wind. Her dark hair was exposed, and three red dots appeared on her forehead. At the same time, the rest of the fuchsia light flew away like cherry blossom petals blown by the wind. Her glamorous body was exposed with a thin layer of clothing that barely covered her breasts and butt. The clothes opened at the height of the stomach and showed her abdomen. Under the white clothes she occupied fuchsia underwear with lace exposing more skin. On Kiara's head appeared two long fuchsia horns and black spots with a veil over her head.

Viggo admired Kiara's body from head to toe. With so few clothes she looked more delicate and beautiful than before. He smiled remembering that first meeting, in the burnt temple of Apollo, just outside the city of Sparta. There was also Sakura and Ana, both of whom were as young as he was.

Viggo stared at Kiara, put his gloved hands close and took Kiara's hands —thank you, Kiara— he said —for being there with me. My life has been great because of you—

—You're my champion, Viggo— Kiara said with a friendly smile —of course I would do my best to help you. You have a wonderful soul. Follow me by showing what you can achieve, but this time as a god—

—Yes, I'll do my best— Viggo said as he looked into her eyes and smiled. After a minute, he let go of her hands. Kiara understood that he was prepared, took a step back, faded away, and reappeared thirty meters away from Viggo.

Viggo looked towards Orario, then beyond the walls, where the fields began. Beyond, where the forest of Wishe began until the clouds appeared in front of a mountain and prevented him from seeing the sea.

Viggo took a deep breath, concentrated on his soul, and took out the sword his father gave him. Calibur appeared in his hands, long, perfect, sharp, with a blue handle, a golden handguard, and a double-edged blade. Now he could take the sword with ease, it was no longer that monstrosity that he had a hard time using as a child. Even now it seemed that the hilt was perfect for his two hands.

Viggo raised calibur, held it in front of his face, and closed his eyes. His father once said that this was the sword of a king, a true king. Viggo could see his father sitting under the apple tree, smiling, with the sword in his hands to hand it to him.

Viggo began to channel divine power associated with sunlight. His whole body was surrounded by a thick golden aura. The energy was channeled to Calibur, and golden rays began to come out of the blade. They hit the rocky surface of the tower of Babel, heating the rock and shattering the surface. Minute by minute more rays of golden energy began to come out, the tower of Babel was damaged on the surface, and some corners broke off.

Debris fell and rushed to the ground. Once they crashed into the buildings and the street, they shattered everything with the force they had been falling. For this purpose, Viggo had ordered that all the people in a hundred meters around the tower be evacuated.

While sunlight gathered at the top of the tower and part of the tower of Babel fell, people looked at the sky from a distance. They saw the golden dot above the tower waiting to see what was going to happen. The other days had been impressive. A pillar of light had pierced the sky, so they expected to see something more incredible.

Viggo opened his eyes seeing the last rays of the sun on the horizon. He let out a sigh. Around Viggo was damaged ground, full of craters and with some edges destroyed. Viggo channeled more sunlight, the calibur light increased, and the sunlight rays were thicker and more powerful. The top of the tower of Babel turned red and the solid rock began to melt. However, only the dwarf royal armor that Viggo possessed withstood this level of potency and remained beautiful and incorruptible. It maintained its turquoise color, crystalline surface, and golden engravings.

Viggo sank because the rock was melting and falling to the sides of the tower of Babel as if it were lava. Viggo made one last effort, he could see inside his body as the sunlight germinated as if the seed broke and a small green shoot came out of it. Viggo let out a scream, forced himself to generate more sunlight and from the inside the bud was growing, taking on a more robust figure as if it were a small flower. Then the stem turned brown and new branches appeared, leaves of green color. The sapling began to grow until it crushed the shell of the seed and grew robust and strong. Then the branches thickened, filled with leaves, and the first fruit was born. It was an Idun apple, green and beautiful with a golden lustre.

Viggo let out a big scream and released the sunlight he had channeled into calibur. A huge golden pillar was formed that surrounded Viggo and was as thick as the tower of Babel itself. Sunlight pierced the sky and was visible from all corners of the continent.

At the same time, the top of the tower of Babel was burned and began to melt losing one meter in height per second. Viggo spent a minute throwing sunlight into the sky until his divine power ran out.

Viggo let out a long gasp, on the verge of unconsciousness, but an incredible smile appeared on his lips. He had succeeded. The heat around him was unbearable, but as he thought, the dwarf royal armor was not damaged.

Viggo tried to support calibur on the ground, but by resting on the tip of the blade, it sank. Then Viggo realized he was standing on lava. He wondered why he hadn't been affected? Sunlight wouldn't harm him, that's what his divinity was all about, but this? Then Viggo felt revitalized, and a soft, flowing aura surrounded him. Then he saw in his mind how the apple of Idun in his tree of divinity fell into a ripe state. Viggo thought he was watching it and stretched out his hand to catch it, but it was only the picture in his mind. This was the first fruit.

Viggo closed his eyes and felt the aura. It was a powerful feeling like no other. It was his own touki that had been changed by the influence of his divinity. Viggo opened his eyes, looked back looking for Kiara. She was there, dignified, and beautiful, unaffected by the potency of the birth of a divinity. She walked over the lava without being burned or her meager white clothes being affected by sunlight. She arrived in front of Viggo and looked up to match their eyes.

—Well done, Viggo— Kiara said.

—Thank you— Viggo replied with a huge smile.

—They're waiting for you— Kiara said.

—I, this is not the end, is it?— asked Viggo.

—You are my champion Viggo— replied Kiara —I will accompany you always, even after death. Once you breathe your last breath I will guide your soul to the Origin, I will never leave you—

—Thank you— Viggo said with a sigh —knowing you'll be there makes everything that comes next look less threatening—

Kiara saw Viggo smile sweetly and innocence. She remembered the unruly boy she met all those years ago and smiled happily. Inside, she wondered if Viggo would one day catch up with her and become a primordial.

Viggo walked over, gave her a little kiss on the lips, and stared at her. Kiara smiled, they stared into each other's eyes until they nodded in agreement. Viggo took a step back, turned around and walked along the top of the tower of Babel which at that time was very much like lava. His feet sank at every step under the weight of his body, but when he reached the edge of the tower of Babel, he could see that he was still at a great height. Then Viggo jumped from the tower of Babel while being surrounded by the golden touki. He could feel the wind and heat emanating from the tower of Babel. He watched as the cobbled ground approached at high speed, but he did not fear.

Viggo fell like a golden meteorite and its impact with the earth caused a great tremor. He left a crater five meters deep. He advanced uphill until he reached street level. He walks while looking at all the debris and lava that fell from the tower of Babel. He moved forward shrouded in the golden aura listening to a huge bustle in the nearby streets even if they told people to stay a hundred meters away.

Viggo put on a big smile, excited about what he had accomplished and to his surprise, the first person he saw was his father. The tall white-haired elf was running at full speed to meet him. Viggo tried to smile, but his lips shivered and when his father caught up and hugged him, he couldn't hold back his tears. Even if he was already a grown man, father of many children, God of sunlight, he felt fragile and small in his father's arms. So, he couldn't do anything but hug him and cry.

A minute later, the first people began to arrive. One of them was Ottar, tall, taciturn, of great build, even a little taller than Viggo. With black hair and bear ears. A tight t-shirt arrived, accentuating his great musculature.

Kain wiped Viggo's face, and the latter smiled because he remembered when he was a child and his father cleaned his face when he got dirty eating. Kain stepped aside and Viggo saw Ottar, his brother who in his childhood hurt him so much by telling him that he would never be Kain's son. Viggo froze for a moment, but Ottar did not hesitate and gave him a powerful hug while congratulating him. That made Viggo happier than ever in his life. In the end, they were brothers, both for better and for worse.

Then came the carriages with Viggo's family, his mother, Hephaestus, Semiraris, Scheherezade, Sakura, Ana, and the rest of his wives with their children.

By then Viggo was more recomposed and was all smiles. No one except Kain and Ottar knew how he burst into tears when he had achieved divinity and remembered all the way he traveled until this moment.

On the other hand, the rest could only see Viggo surrounded by the golden aura that made them feel warm. Not in the sense of heat, but in the sense of protection and security.

Viggo Dragonroad, had become the king of the gods. The first human to attain divinity since the gods came down to earth more than a thousand years ago.

Viggo looked at the adventurers and civilians who were beyond his family. Viggo left his family and walked to where the civilians and adventurers were. There were even many gods in the crowd.

People seeing Viggo, dignified in the beautiful turquoise armor and being surrounded by the golden aura, were overwhelmed. Nothing in this world compared to the feeling that Viggo gave off. It was protection, security, trust, and peace. He was the god of Orarius, he was the king of the gods.

All civilians, adventurers and gods knelt in front of Viggo. The latter could count the heads by the thousands as far as the eye could see. All of them recognized his divinity, which made Viggo feel at peace and sure of what he would do from here on out. Nothing would stop him and make sure he protected humanity.
