VIGGO - ING. VERSION

Viggo, son of Hephaestus (Goddess of forging in Orario) and Kain (Ancient Scion of Balance), was born as a demi-god. However, with a defeat and the inability to strive for a goal in life, he is sent to train with a furious master. Accompany Viggo on his path to becoming a god. "Don't be sorry, be better". This fanfic was born as a Spin-Off of the Original fanfic "Suerte y Perseverancia" also written by me and currently in broadcast. Clarifications: I have been accused of being sadistic with my readers, but I will deny such observations. What happens is that I don't give all things on a silver platter to my protagonists; everything is won. On the other hand, sometimes it just happens that situations do not go as you want. However, that is where the magic of a protagonist lies, in knowing how to move within the parameters and look for solutions with the tools he already has. Believe me, I will never screw my protagonists if it is not to make them better and more powerful. PS: THE IMAGE IS ONLY REFERENTIAL.

Odin, the king god of Midgar was known by many names such as the Raven God, Lord of the Hanged, All Father and many other less honorable names such as The Cheating God.

Viggo read one by one the scrolls on the shelves of the second floor of Odin's secret chamber. The temple he had found at first was just a façade. The god Odin had occupied this place to create a portal to one of his secret chambers, where he hides his studies and treasures. There should have been something important here, but for some reason, there were only studies on the crow god and his movements along Midgar.

Perhaps, it was because of the influence of Faye's protection circle. Perhaps, this place had been abandoned and that is why it was filled by the witch Seidr and the Dragurs.

Viggo finished reading a scroll and looked out the window at the circular-shaped outer courtyard. There was only one gray bark tree that raise to the height of the walls and spread its branches limiting the sunlight. In the center of the courtyard was still the black sphere. All the creatures inside had already died, but it seemed that the sphere, better known as dimensional tearing, seemed to want to remain forever. However, according to the documents, once Viggo enters the dimensional tear and removes its contents, the magic that sustains it will dissipate.

Viggo looked at the scrolls on the shelf in front, let out a sigh and then looked at the scroll in his hands -here is enough information to hate the god king of this earth- he said -his traps, ambitions and betrayals have no end-

Viggo finished reading the scroll and returned it to the shelf behind him. Then he went down the stairs to the corridor that passed under the second floor and again went out to the outside courtyard. The weather was warm, the sky clear and cloudless. The gray bark tree released its leaves one by one, and they slid into the air to cover the ground. It was a place of meditation and thought, a place to strengthen oneself in solitude and self-contemplation.

Viggo folded his arms, just a few meters from the dimensional tear and contemplated his darkness:

The king god, Odin, had been concerned about the prophecies of Ragnarok (the omens of the end of the world). And as mentioned Kratos; Odin being the chief god had been accumulating knowledge and organizing his forces to endure the terrible day. However, the king god had fallen into a state of paranoia and had begun to kill or imprison anyone he found suspicious, even mortals. After all, the king god himself killed his creator and named himself "All Father", usurping his place. So, he also feared that the same thing would happen to him.

Apparently, deep in a gorge there was a Dwarf city, which venerated too fervently a god of war. The fact is that Odin, in his paranoia and jealousy, destroyed the city by sending several dozen ogres. Viggo crossed the drawing of the location of the city with the place where that time he saw a group of ogres hunting some goats and thought that this could be the place, after all, the entrance to the cave was made of carved stone.

-Whatever should I be doing now?- asked Viggo and shook his head as if wanting to push away the previous thoughts. Then he looked at dimensional tear in the shape of a dark sphere levitating into the air and inserted his hand. The dimensional tear extended to the size of a portal. It was strange, Viggo thought, because his fingertips had disappeared on the dark surface like tar, but he felt neither cold nor heat, nor the loss of connection with his fingers.

Viggo ventured a little further and put his arm up to his elbow, but he didn't feel anything special either. Then he pushed his other arm up to his shoulder, waited for a few seconds, but everything remained the same. So, Viggo decided to introduce himself completely.

Once he broke through the dark surface, he saw a room made of the same dark matter as the tear. It was about ten meters wide and long, but there was only one pedestal made of marble in the center of the room. On the surface of the pedestal, they had put three leather bags. He walks to the pedestal while looking at the ground and surroundings without encountering traps or obstacles. He took the bags without checking their contents and then it came out of the tear. As said in the scrolls, the tear lost the magic that supported its structure and decreased in size until it faded.

Viggo lifted the three leather bags he had taken from inside and lifted them to eye level. His lips formed a wide smile, and he re-entered the inside of the chamber. He went up to the second floor and occupied the flat base of the coffin in the center.

-I'm sorry, friend, whoever you are- Viggo said in a good mood -but I needed you to function as a table-

Viggo left the three bags on the lid of the coffin and opened the first bag. There he found a note and a stone the size of a coin with the Berkana rune "B" carved into the surface. Viggo took the stone with his right hand, closed his fingers, and discharge mana in the stone. The next instant he felt much stronger and all his muscles tense. Viggo cut off the flow of mana and the feeling stopped. Then he left the stone with the Rune of Berkana "B" on the lid of the coffin and then looked at his hand as he opened and closed it.

It was strange, he thought, Berkana was a rune that spoke of a "good time to form relationships or friendships." However, the rune drawn on the small stone increased its strength Maybe it will have to do with the people close to you? In this land, Viggo only has Atreus, Faye and Kratos Will it have to do with quantity? Viggo shook his head and let out a sigh. The runes were something he had to keep studying, their uses and interpretations were far beyond logic.

Viggo looked at one of the two bags left to open. He took one, opened it and inside found a mysterious mineral that looked like silver dust. However, upon touching it, Viggo felt that it was more like the chemical reagents that Tsubaki occupied to temper metals. Viggo closed the bag and went to the last exchange. Opening it, he found two stones carved with the Berkana rune "B". Viggo prove each one and felt different kinds of sensations. The first one sharpened his eyesight, it wasn't much, but enough to notice. The second, sharpen his ears. However, like the first rune stone, it was only a negligible improvement. Viggo with his touki could increase the reach of his senses ten times more than these little runes. Now, with the three lined up on the lid of the coffin, he wondered what made them different?

He watches them stare and occupy for an hour, testing them one by one or all together. So, he thought that if he had received this before he had learned touki it would have been very useful to him. Now it was totally useless. However, he would still preserve the stones and learn from their uses. It was easier for him to investigate the real object than to keep reading Kiara's book. He had already read it from cover to cover more than five times. He had memorized all the texts until he knew them by heart, but he had a hard time imagining how Berkana "B" could confer different kinds of strengths.

Finally, Viggo read the note on the first bag:

-The kingdom of the Dwarves is assured- Viggo murmured as he read the note. The text spoke of a promise between the dwarves and the Aesir (race of the god Odin). In return, the dwarves would not help the Vanir, another race with which the Aesir were at war.

Viggo kept the note without giving it the greatest importance and took a personal note about the enemies of the king god. If Viggo was going to ask the Vanir for help, they could refuse. But if he seized the opportunity when they were fighting with the Aesir, perhaps, he could find an opening and sneak away to kill the god king.

<<-Boy, you act as if it is within your means, but it is certain that you have not thought beyond just killing the god king. The gods have subjects and subordinates, all of them working for the good of the greatest of all gods. If you want to kill the god king of these lands, you must kill his generals first. Otherwise, you are too far away to even worry about taking his divine energy->>.

Viggo let out a long sigh as he remembered his master's warning. It was as he said, it can't be as easy as just finding a way to get to the God king Odin. According to his master, that God should be of the combative type, but with a lot of wisdom and knowledge. Well, the answer was in sight. Viggo looked at the bookshelves on the sides of the second-floor walls and saw many scrolls. If it was Odin's hidden chamber, as the scrolls say, that means here are his studies. However, it is as if someone had come after him and hid here. Some scrolls have different letters than the vast majority. Viggo scratched his head with both hands in a gesture of annoyance and denied.

-Too much information- he said, take the Bag of Abundance from his belt and stuff the three leather bags inside. Then he approached a chest that was in the corner and opened the lid. There were only a few gold coins, bullion, and cups, but since they had their own artistic value, inlaid with precious stones and other ornaments, it was better to keep them. Then Viggo takes the scrolls from the shelves and puts it all away. Once knowledge and riches are secured, Viggo goes downstairs to get out. However, before taking the platform that would take him to the "surface", he once again looked at the place and thought for a moment that it would be a good idea to have such a hiding place.

Viggo returned at night to the plateau where he trained with Kratos. Like the other days, his master was sitting on a log, in the center of the small grove that was still standing. The bonfire crackled and the wind howled. However, the calm was the same and no birds or animals could be heard walking around.

Viggo sat on the ground, on the other side of the bonfire and looked at his master.

-Where were you going, boy?- asked Kratos.

-Out there, investigating- Viggo replied with a smile on his lips. He put his hand into the bag tied at his waist and took out a pair of rune stones. Then he threw one at Kratos and he caught it in the air.

-Where did you get this?-

-I went around checking a temple, a hidden place. I found several monsters and some treasures, but the most significant where these stones Do you want them?-

Kratos denied, threw the stone back at him and told him -if you cause any problems, you will have to solve it on your own-

-I know, don't worry, I'll be careful. To all this, I found information and know who the enemies of the god king are-

Kratos narrowed his eyes and looked at his face.

Viggo smiled cunningly and asked him -Do you want to know?-
