Ch.12

The whole class went into a shocked uproar. Emi had a Makaizer? She had to be lying, she came to the school without even a Golem, how would she have a Makaizer?

"Teacher I'm offended. I feel she is lying. She did not disclose having one during classes yesterday how does she have one now."

"That is true Miss Rhapsoden. If you had one why did you not disclose this upon entry of our school?"

Emi felt so stupid, she was so mad about the situation she forgot to think it through before opening her mouth.

"Oh, um well sir. I was out walking last night and I found one abandoned in the woods very beat up. That's why the sudden change of hair color I got it's blood on me fixing it."

'I'm so dead. There's no way he's going to believe that.' Everyone continued talking amongst themselves. Emi had to be lying. Having a Makaizer would have meant she was stronger than what was in the registry, even more so she would have gotten one of the special cottages on campus for her and the Makaizer to live in.

"Teacher, if she does indeed have one can we see it? It would be amazing to witness one fight here." A random student asked. All of them began to ask the same thing. The Teacher couldn't keep the class under control anymore. He had to show face now that the class was pumped up.

"Very well we will meet in the next 30 minutes at the training courtyard. Please be ready by then both of you." Emi bowed and left the room. The Noble girl gritted her teeth. She was hell-bent now on ruining Emi's time here.

Emi rushed back to her room, Vice was still reading his books when she entered.

"Vice it's time."

"Time?"

"I messed up. I mentioned I had a Makaizer and now I need your help for a training session." Vice was confused. Emi bowed to him in desperation. "Please Vice, I'm sorry I put you in this spot but I need your help with someone who's a bad person."

"Bad person? Someone who has been evil to you?"

Emi shook her head. Vice put away his book. He understood the situation.

"Where is this taking place." Emi raised her head to Vice, she wasn't sure expecting him to say yes that quick.

"Training courtyard. It's a short walk from her. But Vice can I make a request."

"What is it?"

"Don't use your sword, or for that matter don't use your full strength. I may be fighting a terrible person but I don't want the attention of having a Makaizer as strong as you are yet. Can you just hold back a little?"

Vice knew what she was asking. It would make her life more complicated if he won in an instant. He nodded yes, and Emi was relieved at the answer. They both headed out to the courtyard for the match.

Everyone sitting in attendance saw Vice, the shock and awe of the sight of him was intense. Emi wasn't lying at all, but now they had no idea how she could have gotten him overnight.

In the crowd watching alongside the teacher was Aura and Ramírez. Both were notified of a Makaizer being there, but they had to confirm it with their own eyes.

"Ramírez is that your friend you mentioned before? When did she get a Makaizer and a makeover?"

"Honestly, I have no idea. She looks a lot different than before. And that Makaizer I don't know but…." Ramírez could feel it. The strong atmosphere Vice emitted was suffocating. "Something's not right with it. I'm worried for her."

Emi and Vice stood in their corner. The Nobel girl along with her Golem in theirs.

"This will be a sparring match to test out the others' skills. Remember this is for training so no using lethal spells or high levels skills. Now state your names and bow for respect for your opponent." The referee yelled.

"Mishna, Mishna Hela Cornelius. My Golem's name is Raphael." The Noble girl stated her name and Golem first.

"Emi, Emi Rhapsoden. This is my Makaizer Vice."

The referee acknowledged both of them. Everyone was excited to see a Makaizer fight. Ramírez paid attention closely, the uneasiness he felt was growing more in his body.

The referee raised the flag, both girls were ready to make the first move. "Ready...BEGIN!!!"

The match started, and Rhapael lunged at Vice, Vice dodged it in a split second, and he let the Golem throw wild attacks. Mishna used the distraction to cast a low-level lightning spell at Emi. Emi noticed she didn't have time to react.

The lightning hit her, but instead, nothing happened. She was perfectly fine. Everyone was confused, she didn't put up barrier spells or had a magic accessory.

"You little!" Mishna fired another lightning spell, this one slightly stronger than earlier. Emi on instinct dodged it, she dodged was so quickly it confused everyone. Mishna was now more annoyed she launched another stronger lighting spell along with a barrier spell to stop Emi in her tracks.

Emi had to fight back, she couldn't dodge forever, she looked at the list of skills she possessed, and one caught her interest even though she didn't know it would do.

"Hell's Hurricane!" Emi blew a strong burst of air in the form of a pressurized mini hurricane at Mishna. Everyone couldn't believe what she did. The spell wasn't low-level, it felt and looked like a S-level spell.

"What did she just do? Emi's never done magic like that before." Ramírez asked in shock.

"I know that spell. That's a forgotten attack spell. How would she know that." Aura said.

Emi stopped to look. She didn't know it was that strong, she drew more attention than she wanted. Mishna was even angrier now, Raphael was still attacking Vice who hadn't received a single hit yet, and Emi hit her with a strong spell.

'Hell with this! I refuse to let that trash get away with this!'

Mishna pulled out the rapier she had at her side, she dashed to Emi, cutting her face when Emi tried to dodge it.

The referee tried to call the match off, but Aura signaled him to stop.

"What are you doing? You saw that this match needs to end before someone gets hurt badly."

"No. I need to see something."

"See what!?"

"I need to see what she's capable of. Something tells me she's holding back. I want to see why?"
