Shanti and Kopi arrived at a decent house – based on the standard house in the middle-class sector – through a police car.
Kopi couldn't take his eyes off the window as he was fascinated by the scenery in the middle-class sector.
There was a massive difference.
If in the worst sector, where he lived, house after house stuck to each other like personal space didn't exist, the middle-class sector has their own house and a vacant space enough for another.
Furthermore, compared to the drunkards and unemployed men who do nothing but laze around, the people he saw were gardening or cleaning their cars, and there were only a handful of them.
The differences were so enormous that Kopi couldn't help but be captivated by such interesting insights.
He was soon pulled back to reality when Shanti shifted to the right slowly and halted right enough to the strange wall.
