Chapter 39: Bending Willows
Lilith had made the rounds, searching for her uncle, for Morgan. Yet, try as she might, she found no trace nor track of him. It was as if he disappeared into thin air, and now, there was no way to find out where he might have gone, only guesses and vague framework.
So, that left only one place Lilith could reasonably go to at this time. Willow’s. Both to protect her (though, not that she needed protection), and to keep her from doing anything stupid.
At least, that was the plan.
And to Lilith’s credit, as she had been sprinting out of the Underground as quickly as she could, she had been intending to go there.
When Puck appeared out of the corner of her eye at a local café, and waved her over, however, Lilith knew she had to put that plan on hold. She slowed to a halt and took a breath. She groaned, she had almost forgotten about Puck and his little threat.
D*mn it all, how to handle this…?
Lilith shook her head and made her way over to him.
