"What the hell, Nickolas? Where did you come from?" Katherine asked as soon as he pulled her to the side, and the man chuckled at her.
He looked at her up and down with an amused smile before leaning on the tree.
"What is so special about me, Delilah?" Nickolas asked.
Katherine raised her brows.
"What is that even supposed to mean?" She asked.
"Well, I can see a vast difference between how you treat me and how you treat others. It's like a whole new side of you jumps out of the frame when you are with me, while with everyone else, you are so soft and naive. Should I consider myself special?" Nickolas asked and Katherine rolled her eyes.
"Seriously, is this what you are here to talk about? You came in like a hurricane like you had the world to save with me. What is it all about?" Katherine asked.
However, rather than answering her, Nickolas held her hand and pulled her further into the forests.
