chapter 4

I walked out of my room dressed in a black jean , black air force 1's and a white sweatshirt. I walked into the kitchen putting bread in the toaster not before greeting my mum.

"Sweetie there's a kid on our front lawn" my mum said looking out the window.

"Ill go check it out" i said grabbing my jacket to avoid the freezing weather outside.

I walked cautiously to avoid being trapped, maybe its a serial killer.

I walked up to the person kicking him lightly, couldn't see the face due to the fact that he was facing downwards, his head covered with a grey hoodie. Only little of his honey brown hair picking out.

I kicked him lightly one more time making him to jolt up from sleep.

"Sorry i was jogging and decided to-oh its you yay" he said the last part sarcastically when he finally looked up

"Good morning to you too, could you leave it bothers my mum seeing a strange kid on her front lawn".

"My apologies to her " he said placing his headphones properly on his head and jogging away.

"Hey " he shouted turning back to me abruptly.

"This is to be spoken to no one" he said giving me a pointed glare.

"Sure whatever" i snorted walking back into my house.

"who was that honey, i saw you having a conversation" my mum said placing the coffee mug in the sink turning on the faucet.

"Just some weird German kid that goes to my school" I shrugged.

"if he doesn't have a home to stay, you could have invited him in" my mum said sympathetically.

"No mum he has more than a home to stay, he has a mansion his dad is fucking rich" i said.

"language" she warned.

"Get this his father is the CEO of Vaughn's enterprise"

"more reason you would have ushered him in , what if he tells his dad some girl and her family kicked him off their lawn" my mum said.

"i dont care mum, i dont know his dad neither do you" i shrugged taking my toast out of the toaster.

"whatever, im heading to work stay safe honey lock the door before heading to school" mum said giving me kiss on the cheek.

When she left i gobbled down my toast and grabbed my bag locking the door behind me. I sat on my front porch waiting for lya .

I kept on checking the time seeing how time was going but she never came , i guess im walking to school then.
