Noe and Murr: partners in crime

Murr was sitting in the early morning sun minding his own business when a shiny object caught his attention.

"Ooooh, and what must this be" he meowed, getting up to get a better look at whatever caught his attention. Jumping up onto the bedside table, Murr saw what was so shiny. It was Vanitas's earing laying right before his paws. Turning his head towards the bed, there laid Vanitas fast asleep.

"I'll teach you for being so mean" Murr thought, picking up his earing between his teeth and running off. Out the window, Murr scaled his way to Noe's bedroom window. Slipping in through the cracked window, he pounces onto Noe.

"WAKE UP, LOOK WHAT I STOLE" Murr meowed loudly, waking Noe instantly.

"What is it Murr" Noe says, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "Are you hungry?"

"No, Look what I stole" Murr meowed again, dropping his prize at Noe's feet proudly. "Vanitas is going to be so mad when he can't find it." Triumphed at his work, Murr purrs happily showing off his sly skillfulness.

"Oh, Murr where did you find this" Noe says picking up vanitas's earing. "I should return this before Noe knows it's missing."

"You can't do that, I found it" Murr meows. Jumping up he snatches it from Noe's hand and jumps to the window sill.

"Murr" Noe yells, leaping forward to catch him. Murr trying to squeeze through the cracked window drops the earing from his mouth as Noe grabs him and pulls him in. Noe watches in slow motion as the earing falls, tumbling over the roof and eventually falling. "Oh no, Vanitas will kill me if we lose that earing."

"Your problem now" Murr meows, licking his paw contently at the chaos he caused. Throwing on his coat and shoes Noe grabs Murr and heads off in search of Vanitas's missing earing.

"Bonjour monsieur Noe" Amelia says, as Noe walks past her. "Beautiful day isn't it today."

"Oh yes" Noe says, stopping to talk. "By any chance have you seen Vanitas's earing anywhere?"

"Oh yes, I'm glad you asked" Amelia says, reaching into her apron pocket. "I found it out front when I was watering the plants just a little bit ago, when I came across this earing. It looked like the one monsieur Vanitas wears so I put it in pocket to return." Sighing with relief Noe set's Murr down. "Oh no it must have fallen out through the hole in my apron" Amelia frets.

"It's okay, it wasn't your fault Amelia" Noe says. "We I'll be sure to find it somewhere around here then."

So once again, Noe and Murr where off in search of Vaniats's missing earing before he finds out. Following Amelia's trail, until they came to the lobby. Noe searched around the lobbies flower pot when he found Vanitas's earing laying right among the flowers.

"Yesss, we found it" Noe states happily, reaching into the plants leaves to grab the little earing that caused them so much trouble.

"Found what" Vanitas says, walking up behind Noe. Scaring Noe half to death, he dropped the earing onto the floor. Murr sprang forward to catch it. Grabbing it between his teeth, he struts proudly to vanitas.

"Oh Murr, thank you for returning my earing" Vanitas says, as Murr drops it in Vanitas's hand.

"I can explain" Noe says, giving a nervous smile.
