Chapter 38: Adrian the Journalist
“You mean someone might come and make a pass at you?” Gwyneth teased in return.
“Here comes the journalist now,” Steven announced instead as he looked across her shoulder.
“Oh, Adrian?” Gwyneth asked.
“Yes, him. He looks a little excited,” Steven explained.
“Hello again,” Adrian said as soon as he reached them. “I’ve got some good news for you. Apparently that prince is coming here tonight. He is accompanying a friend who is going to perform on stage,” he continued excitedly.
“Oh, he has exciting friends,” Gwyneth responded as she led them back to their table in the corner.
“Yes, they hang out a lot and he has another friend who’s aunt is said to be a witch and a vampire,” Adrian whispered from behind his hand as soon as they were sitting down.
“Is it a joke?” Steven asked. “Do they actually do such things here?” Steven asked with an appalled look on his face.
“Oh there are rumors about such things, but a friend of mine has seen it for real,” Adrian responded.
