First earthly kill

'These stats are too long. Although the details seem precisely added to this screen.'

Kyro looked at the statistics on the window which appeared at the corner of his eye. He was unsure whether those details were static or constantly fluctuating. Because after his arrival Kyro could feel the influx of power which was normal for him.

However gradually the fluctuations started to occur. It was certain that the earth's mana was not strongest compared to where he came from. Thus there was no way he was a weak entity for that planet. The only explanation which made sense was the gradual and drastic drop in his powers.

'I have to look into this matter. This is not normal, I feel weaker compared to a few minutes earlier. And what is this slot?'

Kyro hurriedly skimmed through the long list and there was a lot of information which troubled him. After all, firstly he was sent to the weakest plant and now the atmosphere had already started to affect his powers.

[First kill: Fear eating beast | level 1 creature]

His gaze halted at the stat which showed an interesting progress. Kyro had no clue what it meant as whole, but he could guess what it could be. Although it raised his curiosity regarding the possibility of the levelling up associated with that statistic.

'It seems there are a lot of things which I have to figure out.'

He concluded upon figuring out numerous changes in his powers and related things. It became a genuine concern for him regarding how far his strength would drop in future. Nonetheless he shook his head and walked towards Kiera, for some reason the woman attracted him.

Kyro could not take his eyes off her face, how could he leave her unconscious on the ground! He knelt on the ground and scooped the woman in his arms, when his hair opened from the bun. His soft gaze fell upon the gorgeous blonde woman in his arms who was still radiating some aura.

'Her body is still oozing faint traces of mana. Luckily she wasn't deprived off fully during that encounter.'

He speculated about her when another screen appeared in the corner of his eyes. Kyro had no idea that he could read the statistics about other people too. Although it required a skin-to-skin touch to extort that kind of information.

[Name: Kiera Anders]

[Level: 2]

[Rank: B-ranked warrior]

[Class: Senior officer]

[Department: Returnee rescue squadron | RRS]

[Specialisation: Expert in conjuring any kind of weapon]

He skimmed through them in a sheer moment of curiosity regarding her level. Because he could feel she was intimidated by his arrival but still survived! Yes, the mana level Kyro originally had was enough to turn every earthling into shreds from a certain distance.

Since Kiera survived and was unscathed, there were only two theories which could explain the outcome. Either Kyro immediately underwent a drastic change in his powers upon his arrival. Or Kiera was strong enough to survive his level despite experiencing the temporary paralysis and partial blood manipulation.

'Mhm, so she is a strong warrior. But does that mean she is strong enough to take me down, or am I getting weaker? Oh goodness!'

Kyro had trouble accepting he was slowly losing his power level with every passing minute. It was no less than a slow death for a superior being like him. But he had to lose a bit in order to mingle in with the weaklings. No?

There was no way he could go for so long without hurting anybody with his original power level. Thus during the arrival he was deprived of half of his strength. However the rest of the fluctuations were caused by the earth's atmosphere.

James and the rest of the officers approached them, the crack still glowed but no beast came from it. It appeared that the narrow crack was not a portal but a result of the earthquake which was caused during the opening of the portal.

"Good lord! I thought you were just a selfish brat. You have proven me wrong, young man!'

James placed his hand over Kyro's shoulder and patted it to praise his courage. Whereas the other officers stood there dumbfounded for major two reasons.
