Happy Travelling turned into a Dreadful Journey

Next day, all students reached college on time. After counting number of students, everyone boarded the bus. Jack and Rohan were sitting together on the bus. After few distance, Rohan slept and Jack put headphone on his ears, listening song. 

Elena and some other girls divided themselves into two groups and started song competition. Some were simply looking out of the window, enjoying the view. 

Drake went to Elena and whispered something in her ear. She opened her bag and gave him water bottle. Jack saw this and thought " Rohan was right. They are very close, must be in relationship. " He felt jealous. 

  After continuous running for almost nine hours, bus finally reached the destination and stopped in front of a hotel where they were going to stay. 

Everyone got down from the bus. They got mesmerised by the beauty of the surroundings. It was a panoramic view. 

" All of you split yourself into a group of three and each group is assigned one room to stay. " professor instructed them. 

Rohan came to Jack and said " I will stay with you. " 

Jack looked at him strangely and said " Sorry man! I don't know you. Who are you? " and started laughing. 

Drake came to them and asked " Can i join you? " 

Jack was about to refuse but Rohan said " Of course Drake. We are only two, you can stay with us. You are gonna enjoy our company. I don't fear of anything. You don't believe ? You can ask Jack. " 

Jack shrugged and went away. 

Professor said " It is going to be dark. So, go and fresh yourself. Have your dinner. Take a nice sleep. Tomorrow we will go for visit. Get ready till eight in the morning. " 

They were so tired of the long journey, so they all slept. 

Next early morning, Jack woke up. He found that Drake was not on his bed. He went to check the washroom but it was also vacant. 

" Where did he go early in the morning? "he thought. 

Anyways he went to freshen up himself.Rohan also woke up and getting ready. Suddenly, Drake entered the room. 

Rohan asked " Where were you early in the morning?" 

Rohan looked at him. His lips were stained with something red. So, he asked " What is there on your lips. I think it's blood. You lips might be cut. " 

He said " It's nothing. "and went into the washroom hurriedly. 

All students gathered outside the hotel exactly at eight o'clock. Jack was searching Elena. She was not there. 

Jack asked Rohan " Did you see Elena? Where is she? All girls are here but she is not here. " 

Rohan also looked all around but she was not there. Everyone got into the bus and it was about to leave. Jack went to the bus driver and asked him to wait for few minutes more. Jack was waiting outside for. 

Professor told Jack " Come in the bus. We are going to leave now. It's getting late. " 

Jack said " Sir, one girl didn't come yet. Please wait for her. " 

Drake heard this and frowned at him. After few minutes, Elena came out from hotel and got into the bus. She thanked Jack. As soon as, she entered the bus, Drake rushed to her and told her to join him but she ignored him and went to sit with other girls. 

Jack got annoyed at his behaviour. Bus left for the places for visit. 

Jack sat on his place and thought " Drake is her best friend then why didn't he tell the driver to wait for her? Why did Elena ignore him right now? " 

After an hour, the bus halted near a beautiful waterfall. Everyone got down from the bus. 

They were stunned by the beauty of the nature. There were calm lakes, cloudy skies. It was untouched by the pollution of the modern day, blessed by nature in abundance of pine-covering hills, virgin forest.... 

All students were divided into two groups. They were instructed to visit everywhere and gathered again there around 3 o'clock. 

Drake joined the group with Elena. Jack didn't want to go with Drake. So, he and Rohan joined another group. Students were doing sightseeing, boat riding, forest walking. 

Around three, they returned to the same place. But one student was missing from Jack's group. Everyone started searching him in all direction. 

Suddenly, one girl bolted. Everyone ran in that direction and cringed at the scene . That missing student was dead because of exsanguination after having his jugular vein ripped out. Blood was running out of his neck, falling down on the ground. 

" This place is a tourist place, no case of any wild animal attack. Then how can it be possible? " 

Everyone was scared . Jack looked at Elena. She was staring at Drake with anger. Jack smelled something fishy between them. 

They returned hotel. There was fear alarming in everyone's heart and mind. 

Jack and Rohan were sitting silently in their room, flashing back that dreadful scene and Jack was thinking about the reaction of Elena and Drake at that time. 

Drake was looking so calm and taking a sound sleep immediately after reaching hotel. 

Rohan said " Jack! Look at him. He is looking so fearless. He is such a bold man. I am highly impressed. We are blessed that he is with us. " 

Jack didn't reply him. He knew that something was not right. Suddenly, he saw some light stain of blood on his shirt. He went near him and looked very carefully. "Yes, it was blood. Why is there stain of blood in his shirt." he thought. 

Professor already announced to halt the tour and tomorrow they were going to return.
