A massive 20-meter-wide gully was formed in the wake of the devastating attack unleashed by the Flying Dragon-Striking Heaven-Shaking Thunder Cannon. The formidable power of the technique annihilated all wooden walls and trees obstructing its path. Even half of Susanoo, the protective entity, was demolished, yet it managed to shield Madara within.

"I must concede that you possess considerable strength, and the unique power you wield is indeed formidable," Madara acknowledged. With those words, he swiftly performed a hand seal, summoning forth an enormous embodiment of Susanoo. However, this time, it surpassed its previous form, manifesting as a complete body—a full-bodied Susanoo whose might reached an entirely new level, particularly when channelled through the Rinnegan's influence the height has reached whooping 300m.

(A/N: I took it from Naruto game. In Naruto game his Susanoo's height reaches 1000m but I took only 300m.)

Kagutsuchi wasted no time; he swiftly exposed his bare upper body, his Haori hanging open, revealing his physique. His cane transformed into a katana with a purple handle. Uttering the words, "Reduce All Creation to Ash," a cascade of fire engulfed the entire vicinity. Simultaneously, he unleashed his powerful Reitsu. The combined aura released by both Madara and Kagutsuchi reverberated across the Ninja world, catching the attention of Kage-level individuals. Sensing such immense power, Mitsuo, Mito, and Hiruzen promptly departed from Konoha at full speed.

On the battlefield, Kagutsuchi appeared minuscule compared to Madara's colossal Susanoo. However, the intensity of the flames emanating from Kagutsuchi's body reached remarkable heights, almost matching the towering Susanoo. As Madara initiated the attack, swinging his Susanoo Katana towards Kagutsuchi, the latter defended himself skilfully with his own katana. Despite his smaller stature, Kagutsuchi's attacks displayed unyielding strength. In fact, he nearly severed the Susanoo Katana with his own blade.

Seizing the opportunity, Kagutsuchi swiftly traversed the vast hand of the Susanoo. Leaving behind a deep gash, he closed the distance to the face of the Susanoo, where Madara resided. Utilizing Shunpo, Kagutsuchi materialized before Madara, positioning himself directly in front of his face. The hand of the Susanoo, still bearing the deep cut and engulfed in flames, erupted with a resounding boom, causing a powerful explosion.

Simultaneously, Kagutsuchi unleashed a slashing attack, aiming for Madara within the Susanoo. However, a massive remaining portion of the Susanoo's hand, though partially severed, intercepted the strike, successfully defending Madara Uchiha.

As the third hand of the Susanoo lunged at Kagutsuchi, he swiftly evaded the attack with nimble movements. Sensing the imminent danger, Madara conjured a lightning arrow. Anyone who could glimpse beneath his clothing would notice the black marks on his chest, evidence of his utilization of Sage Mode, with the face of Hashirama prominently displayed.

Without hesitation, Madara launched the lightning arrow towards Kagutsuchi, catching him off guard. The arrow's incredible speed and piercing force struck Kagutsuchi's shoulder, leaving a wound. Despite his advanced age, being an Uzumaki and possessing strong Reitsu, the lightning arrow was unable to pass through his body. Kagutsuchi promptly removed the arrow from his shoulder and discarded it, throwing it towards the ground.

Drawing upon his Uzumaki heritage, Kagutsuchi's regenerative abilities came into play. The wound on his shoulder began healing rapidly. Simultaneously, the damaged hands of the Susanoo started repairing themselves, restoring their previous state.

Madara was taken aback by the minimal damage inflicted on Kagutsuchi, considering the arrow's potency, which was capable of piercing through his formidable Susanoo. Kagutsuchi had managed to withstand the attack with little harm, without resorting to flashy or intricate manoeuvres.

Kagutsuchi raised his hand and started chanting,

"Limit of the thousands hands, respectful hands, unable to touch the darkness. Shooting hands unable to reflect the blue sky. The road that basks in light, the wind that ignited the embers, time that gathers when both are together, there is no need to be hesitant, obey my orders. Light bullets, eight bodies, nine items, book of heaven, diseased treasure, great wheel, grey fortress tower. Aim far away, scatter brightly and cleanly when fired"

As Kagutsuchi recited his incantation, nine radiant red lights materialized around him. With the completion of his chanting, the crimson lights surged forward, converging upon the Susanoo in a devastating impact. A resounding boom reverberated through the battlefield, accompanied by a shockwave that extended across a vast distance. After a few tense moments, the once-mighty Susanoo became visible, now in a state of near-total destruction, on the brink of collapse.

Madara, shrouded by White Zetsu, emerged into view, bearing severe injuries. However, thanks to the regenerative properties bestowed by his Hashirama cells, his wounds swiftly began to heal at an accelerated pace. His first priority was to restore the face of the Susanoo, providing a shield of protection. Additionally, he focused his efforts on repairing the damaged Susanoo, which teetered on the edge of stability, barely able to maintain its standing posture.

Witnessing Madara's condition, Kagutsuchi swiftly closed the distance between them, intent on pressing his advantage. However, as he neared Madara, the Uchiha unleashed the powerful Shinra Tensei, a forceful repulsion that sent Kagutsuchi flying backward.

Having recuperated from his injuries and with the Susanoo restored, Madara launched another assault against Kagutsuchi. Undeterred, Kagutsuchi retaliated with equal ferocity. They, both considered the most formidable individuals in the world, ignited the battlefield, marking the beginning of an intense battle.
