After entering, they turned on the light to see the situation inside clearly, and both of them couldn't help but be surprised!

This was not a guest room, it was a bedroom! And there was no Falshani inside, let alone Yang Lin. There wasn't even a shadow of a ghost!

"Open the door! Who are you people?" Li Weijie shouted outside.

"You're kidnapping us, it's illegal! Let us out!" Lin Ruotong also pounded on the door and shouted.

After a short period, he indeed found two pinhole cameras! One in the bedroom and one in the bathroom.

Li Weijie sneered, "Think optimistically, they might just be monitoring us. Think pessimistically, they might want to capture any intimate moments we have together. There might be another purpose!" He quickly dismantled and smashed the two cameras and threw them in the trash bin.

"Now what do we do? These food items might be problematic too!" Lin Ruotong went to the coffee table and examined the food carefully.

The food was simple, just white bread and biscuits, along with two bottles of mineral water and two bottles of cola. It seemed like simple food bought from a convenience store, not carefully prepared or suspicious.

While rummaging through those things, Lin Ruotong discovered that there was a folded A4 paper underneath. She quickly picked it up, and both of them gathered to read it.

It was a folded A4 paper with typed text inside, not handwritten. Any computer could produce the same typeface, so it couldn't be used as evidence even if they reported it.

The paper read:

General Manager Xu, Li Weijie, we didn't intentionally want to trouble you. It's all because Li Weijie knows Falshani! Our guests unexpectedly wanted to visit your place before attending our opening ceremony. In order not to offend them, we had to invite you as guests for a few days.

"What does this mean?" Lin Ruotong smiled strangely. 

"This note is a bit idiotic. They tricked us and locked us up just so Falshani wouldn't see you with Rongjie? Ha! What a ridiculous theory!"

Li Weijie furrowed his brows and thought carefully, "There's one question. Why did they know that using Falshani would deceive us? Falshani likely came or they found out about me meeting Falshani in H City. But this note is misleading, I feel like it's intentionally confusing us."

"To prevent Falshani from finding out, they can come up with a reason to delay or avoid it, right? This statement may be false, but why did they choose today to deceive and bring you and Rongjie here?" 

Lin Ruotong said, pondering. "Could it be that Falshani insisted on seeing you? 

If it were me who came instead of Rongjie, and only she knew about the matter, then if Falshani went to the Jinxian Hotel and asked about you, others would only say you had left, unaware of any trouble you encountered!"

She remained calm, not forgetting that she was currently taking Rongjie's place.
