Chapter 28：First date

Today, Su Keko didn't come to pick him up, so Li Weijie took the car and came to the place Su Keko mentioned. 

Of course, he didn't forget to bring some money with him. 

Since he received his salary, it was only natural that he couldn't let the girl pay.

Su Keko was waiting for him in a café. When Li Weijie found the café and walked in, he immediately noticed Su Keko sitting in a corner. After all, there weren't many girls as beautiful as her, and it was even more unlikely for them to be in the same café at the same time. 

She stood out.

Li Weijie, standing at the entrance, saw Su Keko from the side. Her eyes didn't meet his as she was engaged in conversation with someone across from her.

Sitting opposite Su Keko at the moment was a young man who was equally handsome and about the same age as her. 

This young man, unlike the type of handsome that Zhou Qingbang represented when they met last night, belonged to the kind of handsome that was more like a pretty boy.

When the two of them sat together, they looked like a perfect match, like characters from a beautiful manga, and anyone who saw them couldn't help but admire them.

Li Weijie felt the same way, but while he admired, he couldn't help but feel a bit gloomy, and that gloominess stemmed from Su Keko's words. 

Although Li Weijie didn't believe that Su Keko truly wanted him to be her boyfriend, understanding that there must be some ulterior motive behind it, he came here to figure it out. 

But seeing her now with this handsome guy, couldn't help but make him feel a bit down.

Li Weijie muttered to himself silently, and seeing a waiter waiting for him to choose a seat nearby (thinking he was looking for one), he smiled and retreated.

Li Weijie stepped outside the café and lit a cigarette, preparing to call her later.

He took a deep drag and slowly exhaled, feeling a bit relieved.

With this thought, Li Weijie felt relieved and had no other thoughts. He planned to finish his cigarette and then calmly go inside.

As he finished smoking his cigarette and reentered the café, a customer happened to stride out. In passing, he suddenly felt that this person looked somewhat familiar, and couldn't help but take a second look.

Upon entering the café, Li Weijie immediately saw Su Keko waving at him with a genuine smile. He returned the smile and walked towards her, only to realize that the handsome guy who had been sitting across from Su Keko was gone.

So Su Keko wasn't looking at the entrance waiting for me to arrive, but rather watching that person leave.

"Have you been waiting for a long time?" 

Li Weijie sat opposite Su Keko and couldn't help but think of the person who had been sitting here earlier.

"It's alright, I happened to meet a friend here and chatted for a while, so it wasn't boring." Su Keko glanced at him and chuckled lightly. 

"Compared to yesterday, it's much better now. I knew there would be this sleepyhead here again."

Li Weijie wasn't accustomed to her using such an intimate tone, it felt somewhat unnatural.

"What would you like to drink?"

"Anything will do." Li Weijie casually ordered a cup of charcoal roast coffee from the waiter who followed them.

After dismissing the waiter, Li Weijie asked directly, "What does that text message of yours mean, exactly?"

Su Keko pursed her lips and smiled. 

"It's quite obvious, don't you understand? I want you to be my boyfriend! Remember, you're already my boyfriend now, so you can't flirt with other girls!"

"Forget it, why are you joking about this?"

"Hey! Aren't you supposed to admit it?" Su Keko widened her eyes.

Li Weijie cried and smiled helplessly. 

"Admit what? I haven't agreed to anything, nor do I have any obligation to be responsible for you! Why do you have to force me?"

"Hey..." Su Keko put on a pitiful look and elongated her voice, speaking with a touch of grievance, "I'm a girl, okay? I took the initiative, and you still refuse? Isn't that bullying me? Besides, didn't you take advantage of me last night?"

Nonsense, does that mean a girl can't refuse? If a stranger woman comes up to me and says she wants me to be her boyfriend, am I not allowed to refuse?

Thoughts aside, when Li Weijie saw Su Keko's pitiful appearance, he couldn't help but sigh and said, "Keko, stop teasing me. What's going on?"

At that moment, the waiter brought Li Weijie his coffee.

"Hehe, don't be so serious. How about we just chat casually and relax? Just don't be so serious." 

Su Keko extended her slender jade finger and pointed at Li Weijie's face. 

"Look how serious you are now! It's no fun at all."

Li Weijie was dumbfounded. 

Are you scolding me for being serious when you said something so shocking just to mess with me? 

He glared back, "Then I won't take it seriously!"

"Hehe... Ajie, to be honest... Do you want to be my boyfriend? Why are you so nervous?" Su Keko's lips curved into a smile and her tone carried a hint of joking.

Li Weijie couldn't help but feel both angry and amused. 

"Yes! I not only want to be your boyfriend, I want to be your husband! Miss Su Keko, are you planning to be my wife?"

He originally wanted to say, "You're so full of yourself as if everyone has designs on you. With your character that delights in teasing and toying with others, who can tolerate you?"

But thinking about Zhou Qingbang's derogatory words about her last night, he couldn't bear to say something that would hurt her.

"Go on, who wants to be your wife?" Su Keko rolled her eyes at him and then smiled mischievously.

"I thought about it for a long time last night and realized that it's a great idea for you to be my boyfriend!"

"Is that so?" 

Li Weijie widened his eyes and stroked his chin.
