Chapter 11: Unknown

"Ugh! where is she? It's been almost 25 minutes and Marina is still not here." I waited for her as we made a plan to meet in a internet café to do our homework.

Looks like it's going to rain, the weather looks dark and gloomy I don't mind it, I am a rain lover. My mom gave me an umbrella and I took another one just in case Marina forgets hers.

I am in the centre city sitting in this cozy café, I look outside there's a lot of people walking around, after waiting for 10 more minutes I decide to call her.

"Where are you? I've been waiting he-" I was cut off.

"I'm really sorry my mom called me from her workplace and told me to prepare some dishes, my aunt is coming from China." Marina talked in a hurry.

"So you won't be able to come?"

"Yeah, I wanted to but… i'm sorry. I'll call you later I am in the grocery store, sorry again." Marina hung up the call.

Well it's alright I finished my homework, I look out and woah it looks like there's a storm coming, I better be going. I went out and walked towards the bus station that was slightly far from the café.

And of course with my luck it started raining as soon as I stepped out, looks like the rain was waiting for me to come out so it can pour on me. I take my umbrella out and start walking, I put on my airpods and shuffle my playlist.

I walk slowly as if I am in a MV feeling like my boyfriend just dumped me and I want a change in my life. I do live in my imaginary world 99% of the time.

I look around and there's not much people walking around now, I glance to my side and saw a guy standing with a black suite on, he was soaked looked like he was waiting for someone. I decided to level up my rank in the heaven and do a good deed. I took the other umbrella out and walked towards him.

"Hey? you can catch a cold if you stand in the rain for too long." Of course i'm suddenly a doctor and he's new in this world. "Here, you can take this." I hand him the umbrella. I look up at him, he looks shocked?… or maybe he just never saw a beauty like me before, yeah I can be delusional sometimes. I wait for him to take the umbrella from my hand. "You can take it." I put the umbrella on his hand and gave him a smile and walk away.

He will remember this day, he does look slightly shocked, maybe he thinks i'm an angel. I softly furrowed and remembered, oh I think he didn't want that umbrella because it was pink, it doesn't matter it will do it's job.

I reached home, I went straight to my bedroom and sighed as if I am back from farming all day long.

We ate dinner and I prepared my school bag for tomorrow, I did text Marina if she had done her homework but no answer, after a little while I went to sleep.

"I knew it that- ugh, why didn't she tell me she won't come to school today." I drop my head on the desk and sigh loudly.

"Have you finally gone crazy?" Alex said giving me a 'you're trash' look.

I didn't answer, I do look like a new born zombie today, not my fault Marina didn't come and I am feeling lonely, she could've messaged me, I would've also stay at home. Seriously I have no energy today.

"When someone talks to someone they are supposed to answer." Alex snapped his fingers at me.

"If she doesn't want to talk maybe you should shut up." Hazen talked.

Here they go again, they'll start a fight soon. I stared at Brian he was reading a book I don't have enough energy to go and ask him which book he's reading, or maybe he just makes me wea-

"You will be torn apart if I punch you!" Alex said as if he was Mohmmed Ali.

"I don't even want to touch you, god knows if you shower or not." Hazen said nonchalantly.

"Oh so now you want to watch me shower?"

Sometimes I think if they secretly like each other.

I just want to take them to the highest point of Mount Everst and push them.

The day passed, finally I went home.
