The Rogan's offer

Blair POV

I asked again to make sure I heard well, there was nothing I wanted more than to end the life of that fucking bastard that killed my father and fucking ruined my life.

"Ethan you can tell your boss or whomever he is that I would give it a thought and stop sneaking up on me, I will snap your neck when next you do" I warned before walking out of the café, I hadn't noticed we spoke for long, it was already dawn.

As I walked to my apartment, I was deep in thought. I know I would do anything to be free and live a life of no fear. But I knew nothing was free on earth, he must have his motive but as long as it's something minor like being his soldier, I wouldn't mind as long as I get my revenge, as long as get my life back, I don't care.

Ethan had betrayed me before how sure was I that it wouldn't repeat itself, I decided to give it more thought. I wouldn't be a fool for the second time.

I got to my apartment feeling hungry, tired, and exhausted. I had let my food go and spent the entire night talking to that motherfucker. I lay on my bed still lost in my thoughts, Killing him meant freedom and I have dreamed of being free for a very long time.

I fell asleep only to be woken by the sound of vehicles honking and people talking, I opened my eyes to see it was already dark, I took my shower quickly and headed outside, I hadn't eaten all day and my tummy was starting to grumble. I headed to the same club, I knew Ethan would be there, I could see through him. Just like I had said, I could sense him immediately when I walked in.

"Hi Ethan" I greeted, I sat close to him, he was already expecting me from the look on his face.

"What can I get you?" the cute barman asked giving me the flirty look.

I replied with a wink"Give me your strongest vodka" I said, I watched as he mixed the drinks before pouring it into my glass, it was really fun to watch.

"It's on the house," the cute barman said passing me my drink.

"How did you know I was here?" I heard Ethan say interrupting my flirty moment. If eyes could really kill, mine would have killed him.

I laughed "Ethan you are quite predictable and as someone who has known you for a long predicting your next move wouldn't be a difficult thing to do, I knew you would be watching"

"Oh yea" his mouth twisted in a parody of his familiar grin "maybe you are right, let's go to the café it's too noisy here". He looked cute as he spoke if he hadn't fucked up who knows we might have been a thing now.

"You mean the one across the street?" I asked

"No let's drive to somewhere else in case you want to throw punches like the last time" he smirked.

We walked out and he walked towards a shiny "god knows whom he had stolen this one from" I thought.

He acted as a gentleman by opening the car for me, he took his keys and turned on the ignition while I eased into the front passenger seat in dogged silence.

Neither of us said anything until we arrived at our destination, I was new in town so I enjoyed the scenery as well, maybe West Virginia wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

The café was quite, empty, so we sat at the edge of the window and ordered some coffee.

"So, have you made up your mind?" Ethan asked smiled, I have been expecting that question.

"Before I make up my mind I want to know you guys motive for helping me, I know there is a price to pay for everything, so spill," I asked.

"I know you don't trust me but I assure you we don't want anything from you, just that you and our leader seem to share a common enemy. I have been loyal to him so they are doing me a favor by helping you that's all" he explained, though his voice sounded reassuring but I knew never to let my guard down because the last time I did, I almost ended up in the claws of my enemies.

He went on and on about how their so-called group THE ROGANS loved each other and how they would help me get the revenge and protection I wanted, he really sounded convincing but not convincing enough to blindly fall into any stupid trap.

"It's fine, we can meet up by the weekend, I would love to chat with your leader. You already know I don't trust you but you seem like my only option, I will give you a trial" I said to him.

We discussed for some time before we bade each other goodbye.

"Let me drop you off," he said softly.

"I will walk" I replied while walking away.

I needed a walk to clear my head, I went from running from my capturers to meeting someone who betrayed me in the past and now offering to help me, I wanted to enjoy the scenery too.

As I walked through the alley I could feel eyes on me, at first I thought it was just normal stares, I am a beautiful girl and I get stares all the time but it seemed more than just an admiration stare. I looked back again but i didn't see anyone but i heard footsteps behind me, i knew i was being trailed.

I was scared at first, I wanted to give a run at first but decided to calm down a bit. If they wanted to capture me they would have done so from the café, I pretended not to know I was being followed, and I made several stops at different boutiques.

I didn't want to lead them to my apartment that is if they don't know where I already stay. As I walked down the alley to the bar across from my house, my father's words kept ringing in my ear.

I know I shouldn't trust anyone especially one that had betrayed me before but what if this is my only chance of being free?

I wandered around for sometime but they were still trailing me. I knew I had to do something, if not I might have to sleep outside or risk them knowing where I stay, that is if they don't already.

"Who the fuck are you?"
