"Argh!" I can't believe he's my father, God would just have given me a peasant farmer for a father. Why would I have someone rich and mighty but never cares or loves?

I stood headed straight for my smartphone. I had recently found a way to contact Maddy, my friend. I didn't know whether it was right to trust his madness. I wanted him to keep news of my existence a secret until I made my move.

I checked the email and smiled. He had finally replied to me and seeing the words, I could confidently tell it was him.

// Stay hidden, something is not right over here. We have a nomination today and I want to see how your father handles that. I'll give you more details later Seb.//

I read his email and headed straight towards the kitchen. I feel hungry often this day and I like that Bestow is no longer here giving me a chance to do what I want. I entered the kitchen and my eyes landed on a tiny figure busy preparing who knows what.

"Why would you wake up so early?" I asked and she smirked however, my eyes didn't want to break from her godly appearance. I stared at her revealing pajamas.

"I should be asking you that question because unlike you, everyone knows I am a foodie," She said and I smirked moving slightly closer. From her smell, anyone could tell that she was from the bathroom. She smelt fresh and welcoming but I shooed it off.

"Have you thought of the possibility of you being replaced in the coming nomination? I presume you're already twenty five and a nomination could be held soon." She said and I froze in place.

How did she know of nominations and things concerning the state so much? If not for Maddy then I wouldn't even know that a nomination would be held to find someone in replacement of my father.

He recalled events with Domain and her father. Now that he had given thought, she was not just an ordinary person within B City. Her family equally held ranks. Who is she? Why would be in a scandal of his misfortune as an abandoned son?

"What do you think?" I had to know her perception and she turned. I froze in place because I was too close and her boobs slightly brushed through my chest though she was quick enough to move back before I could feel anything.

"You should know your father better than I do, is he one to be easily played?" She asked turning back to cook her ramen. Her words had hit a spot. Was Alexander someone easy to play? Would he do everything in his power to protect his son's position?

All that matters is whether he thinks I am dead or alive. "I don't give a damn about leadership," I said and she snapped.

"Shut your tramp Sebastian Yates." She called both my names, oh! How impressive. She had finally succeeded in awakening the beast within me. I was no longer a Yate. It was Glen. A self-established sir name.

I held her tightly and pinned her on the wall. My right hand pressed her throat while my left elbow pressed her shoulder. I felt something wet on my elbow. Wet but slightly warm. Domain also felt weaker than she'd always been.

I didn't feel any resistance from her and it was so unlike her. My eyes landed on her wet eyes as I slowly let go shifting my eyes to her bloody shoulder.

"Domain, what did they do to you?" I snapped carrying her straight to her room. Like a beast, I pulled her upper covering revealing a ripe red spot with blood oozing from it.

My mind went blank, I'd never handled such cases and here I was. The only one she had to rely on. No father, no mother, and no brother. I was all she got.

"Domain, why didn't you tell me about this earlier?" I remembered hurting her back at the hospital. "I'll go get some help," I said standing to leave but my hand was held captive.

"D___ don't call anyone, you can handle this Sebastian." She struggled to say the words and I nodded. It's not because I trust her but it might have been because I respect everyone's decisions.

"I'll try but if can't handle then I'll take you straight to the hospital," I said pulling the first aid kit. Tf, her condition was way worse for a simple first aid kit. A part of her flesh would remain on the cotton wool I was using to wipe her wounds.

"You were poisoned Moana," I called her name and she turned to look at me.

"I know." She said staying still. "If your inn laws ever find out that I am poisoned then they would figure out something." She said turning away and events from my torture room flashbacked in my mind.

I froze trying to figure out if Domain was the masked woman because of a broken glass bottle, she was stabbed. Old Mr Lee's words are displayed in my mind.

'Whichever hospital you step in, I shall be there to haunt you.' He said towards the retreating figure.

"Was it you?" I asked and she shook her head.

"I was stabbed by old Mr Lee for rejecting his offer." She said and I smirked. I would take her to the hospital and if any member of the Lee family dared to hurt her then I would show them who Sebastian Yates is.

I would bring every single one of them down to where they belong. If their money and power were attained by bloodshed, they had no copy of my own. I would protect Domain at all costs and they would hurt her over my dead body.
