The fifth time I met Jeffery was at the annual celebration of Sunngrun University.

As an excellent alumnus, he was invited to this event.

I rarely showed up at school. Most of the time, I listened to the live broadcast class and had my assistant collect important documents for me.

This time, I attended because of Jeffery.

Perhaps you still remembered my uncle-in-law and my aunt. I transferred an amount of money to them every month since I started working.

That was the pension that they requested. According to the law, I could ignore their request, but I was grateful to them from the bottom of my heart.

If not for the bruises and scars on my body, and if not for the fact that they were so overbearing, Jeffery might not have supported me.

After encountering Jeffery, all of the sufferings had become meaningful.

But two months ago, I stopped paying the large sum of money. They couldn't find me, but they must have heard that I would attend this school anniversary.
