LOST BUT FOUND

As we marched into the bus on that bright Friday morning, the chatter of everyone was that of joy. The whole class was ready for an adventure that will remain unforgotten. Inside the bus, Zander sat in front of four kids talking about the trip.

"I don't know, ask the school'' she heard the girl reply nonchalantly. The chime on her phone indicated that she was texting.

"I heard that Rex's parents paid the school to take us there" it was a boy with a thick voice who then spoke. Zander scoffed at this knowing that it was Carmella who brought up the idea and forced most of the kids to raise their hands. On second thought this guy is sure of what he is saying. She thought.

"Why would Rex's parents do that?" "Something is off "the other two voices were unfamiliar. "Well, we are all going to find out soon enough" not hearing any other voices speak, Zander puts on her headset as she listened to music on her phone waiting for the arrival of their destination.

A few minutes later they arrived and they immediately started the tour "Everyone, this is miss Evelyn, she shall be your Thor guide. The principal chuckled at his joke as he waited for the students to join. Seeing no one found it funny, he walked towards the well-draining the water. The tour guide and the students followed.

"How did this come about?" everyone looked at Rex wondering why he asked such a question knowing he is usually not interested in this kind of thing. The tour guide responded "Researchers believe that Thor's well began as a large sea cave which formed over thousands of years as waves crashed into the volcanic rock. It eventually collapsed leaving a bowl-shaped hole just meters from shore. The hole is only twenty feet deep"

" Where does it get its name from?" "It is named after Thor, the Norse god of thunder. Local legends suggest that Thor stuck the coast, creating a giant hole we see today" humph. Really? he thought.

"You seem to be interested in this well" The boy from behind spoke. Rex looked at the boy with an unnerving intensity. The boy with a thin sharp face showed no expression.

"I just think the history of Thor's well is a lie"

"Really?" ​

"Really." They both stared at each other, one looking for a way to intimidate the other.

"Any more questions?" The woman asked when no one was asked any questions. The staring contest was broken.

Sleeping plans were made and they were asked to go to their rooms to freshen up. Zander receives a message from her principal h who told her to make sure that everyone got to their dorm. She checked every room and noticed students were missing. The only obvious place to check is the well, she thought. She walked to the well and see four kids talking as they faced the well. "What are you guys doing here? I can't believe I found all of you here"
