I immediately felt a change with myself. Pain flared throughout my body as I doubled over in pain.

"Why the hell does this hurt so much!"

The pain continued for a few more minutes until it eventually subsided. A notification popped up but I was still recovering from the pain I just received. The notification can wait a few minutes.

After I recovered from the pain I looked at the notification.

'Soul Magic awakened'

So I got soul magic unlocked. I wonder what I can do with that. First let's see what my status looks like now.

Soul Magic

Soul withdrawal: Pull the soul out of dead bodies. The stronger the gap in strength between you and the person when they were alive the harder it is to take their soul. You also must be making physical contact with the body.

Soul fusing: You can fuse souls together but be warned that there is a good chance of failure.

Soul boost: You can absorb a soul to gain a temporary power boost however you will be weaker afterward. How much weaker you get depends on the strength of the boost.

Soul beams: You can turn souls into energy beams that you can fire off. The more souls and the stronger the souls that you put into the beam the stronger the beam will be.

Disperse: You can get rid of curses or spells that put harm on one's soul. However whether you can get rid of it or not depends on the strength of the curse and the strength of the user.

Soul strengthening (Passive): As the wielder of soul magic your body has been strengthened in order to wield this power.

Wow, this seems strong. I also made a jump in power levels so that's good. Lets look over the soul magic I got. It seems Soul withdrawal allows me to take souls out of bodies, seems simple enough. Soul fusing allows me to fuse souls. Is their a limit of how many I can fuse together at once? If their is no limit then couldn't I just fuse like a million souls together? Soul boost would be good as a trump card of sorts to use in emergencies. Soul beams will probably be one of the attacks I will use the most when I get my hands on souls. Will I ever need to even use Disperse? Soul strengthening is a nice benefit.

All in all I think this was really worth the SP I spent on that pill. If I had bought the Zanpakuto then I would only have a sword. Sure their is shikai but how long would it take to learn my Zanpakuto's name? The only thing I worry about is that if this is their soul and I am messing with it. Doesn't that mean they will not be able to move on to the Afterlife or Reincarnate? Let's ask Jasmine this.

"Hey Jasmine, does taking one's soul prevent someone from moving on?"

'No it does not. The soul does not house their consciousness but their magic and strength. The only exception is the ghost race who are souls themselves.'

Ok, that's a relief. I would of hated to be that guy who screws with death. Because when you screw with death, death will screw back. As I was appreciating this wonder magic a notification popped up.

Due to unlocking Soul Magic you can now manage the souls of everyone who dies in your universe as long as soul withdrawal would work on them. Would you like to have all dead souls given to you for your soul magic?

I immediately tapped yes. This is how I will get my souls. I won't even need to work for this. Also does not mean when I wake up from hibernation I will have a bunch of souls to work with? I hope so. The only downside is that I can't get the souls of strong people because this seems to work like a long range soul withdrawal that works through the universe.

Now that this is set up it is probably time to hibernate for a couple thousand years.

"Will I be safe hibernating in space. Cause it would be bad if something happened in space." I asked

'As this is still a trash grade universe it should be relatively safe here. Their is no need to worry.' Jasmine replied

"Also that reminds me but how am I breathing in space?"

'As the Guardian species you do not need oxygen, food, or water intake. Sleep is not required but would be recommended.'

Oh neat, no wonder I can hibernate and not worry about food and such. That will be useful in the future. Now with everything done it time to hibernate for a couple thousand years. Good night.

"Hey Jasmine, I would like to hibernate now." I said

'Ok, starting hibernation.'
