The Underdark

Jack woke everyone up as Iris was about to kill him, fortunately Vincent held back the sleepy beast. Gem wasn't happy, but she wasn't sad either, just neutral. Iris requested they find something to eat. Jack nodded as he brought out the rations they brought.

'Better than eating bugs,' Vincent shivered remembering when he was forced to eat bugs by Kane.

As everyone ate, Iris got a message.

[Save the War Army]

[Reward: You live, +5 hivemind energy to you(+10 because of system) and two people of your choosing]

"We should do our slot for today," Everyone agreed.

However, something was off.... Gem.

"I- uhm," Vincent didn't know about Gem being a gem bug.

"You what?" Vincent asked.

"Don't have a hivemind..." She learned that much from her two days with Jack.

"Oh, I forgot you were a gem bug-" Vincent spit his water onto Jack's face, "She's what!?"

After explained they got back to things.

"Hmm, this sucks huh," Gem felt depressed.

"Yeah," Jack responded unhappily.

Iris asked her system if there was anything she could do.

[Well, there is one solution.]

[Type One refers to a item or anything that is in the 'Human' level. If it says low then low human items are accepted, middle, high, top, and superior human levels will be shown as well.]

"Vincent? Do you happen to have any disposable human level items?" Iris asked.

"Huh, yeah I so," Vincent threw over the now obsolete Daybreak's Astrosphere.

"Thanks," Iris made an excuse and went inside her tent.

Jack felt a certain energy go inside him, it was the same feeling that he had when both him and Vincent got an extra 0.5 space. Anyone with a natural mind would suspect that Jack became stronger somehow, maybe plot armor. But Vincent knew it was probably Iris, well as long as she helps Jack, Vincent wouldn't hurt her.

"Nice! Now we can all go!" Iris returned.

"Yeah!" Jack was too busy being excited about such a convivence that he didn't ask what happened.

"So where we going?" Gem asked excited for her first time in the otherworld.

"The Underdark," Iris absently muttered.

"The Underdark?" Jack was curious about that.

"Yeah, the Underdark is a place with low visibility meaning darkness beasts and users would be there," Iris said.

"How does that help us?" Gem interrupted.

"It will help our skills in the dark and night, in many planets known by humans, a sort of night field covers the entire planet," Iris made a good point. They wouldn't know who would contact them in the future and where they would be sent. Being prepared was better than being unprepared.

"Then we'll go to the Underdark!" Jack made his mind up.

Vincent didn't really care where they went.

[Underdark located.]

[Party made, Jack Crimson, Silver Gem, Iris Flower, Shredder, Blob have been partied.]

Currently Nexus was having 'fun' with the sunlight ore they had in excess and the devourer he had obtained before.

[Underdark selected by Party Leader Jack, Starting...]

[Age 0, everyone spawns in and starts excavating a large camp/Shredder is off going to consume some corpses/Blob ventures out to find an opponent.]

Jack started to command everyone to build a large camp. Shredder could be seen walking in the dark, yet unaffected due to having night vision from one of his earlier evolutions. Blob had a celestial spear that emitted light, he was quite obvious to see.

[Age 1, after a year of constructing your party members had built a large camp and fend off the beasts of the night/Shredder has consumed the corpse of a Metal Rock Monster and evolved into a Metal Sovereign Ant/Blob has killed several hundred night insects and gained Night Vision.]

In a dark underground with trees a large bonfire gave off a sense of warmth and hope for the dark inhabitants. A monster made from metal could be seen being chewed upon by a large two meter ant. The bodies and blood of hundreds of insects laid behind Blob who carried a bloody spear.

[Age 5, your party members have all gained the ability of semi-night-vision/Shredder has continued his rampage across the Underdark killing hundreds/Blob finds a portal to the 'Deep Underdark' and enters.]

Jack could be seen fighting in the dark with good movements. Critters scatter in fear whenever Shredder walked past them. A large black vortex appears in Blob's path who fearlessly walks inside.

[Age 7, many years of fighting has given your party members the ability of night vision/Iris makes her move and defeats a large Moon Scorpion by herself/Shredder has consumed the corpse of a King Shadow Ape and evolves into a Shadow Metal Sovereign Ant/Blob has spent two years fighting in the deep underdark against Void Entities.]

Iris sits on top of the corpse of the dead Moon Scorpion. Shredder has become stronger and with every step he takes he leaves behind four claw tracks. The dead remains of several human like entities covered in a purple like goo were in front of Blob who raises his hand and collects the blood.

[Age 10, your party members fight a fearsome battle but come out victorious/Gem becomes unconscious in the battle/Shredder faces off the entire Shadow Ape species/Blob begins upgrading his equipment.]

Gem laid unconscious on a bed made from the hide of the Moon Scorpion as Jack clutched her hands. In front of Shredder lays millions of shadow apes. Blob could be seen in a cave with his crown taken off, and a compact drop of blood from the various void entities he killed was fusing with the crown.

[Age 15, your party members await a large hoard of shadow apes/Shredder forces the species of shadow apes to migrate/Blob has spent five years bettering his equipment and plunges deeper into the Deep Underdark.]

In the camp many defenses were bring made as the duo Iris and Jack prepare for the worst. Shredder could be seen in a desolate battlefield littered with the bodies of his dead enemies. A newly upgraded Blob with better and cooler looking equipment sets off for his new journey.

And Vincent was all with them to see how this would turn out...
