pleasant conversation

"Does it really matter who called me?"Sadie asked him." I just find it odd that now out of all this time someone called you about her" he responded." I'm not quite sure how she found the flyer honestly but she called me and wanted me here as soon as possible." Sadie explained to him." she? have you met her yet?" Jason asked getting a suspicion of who it could be." yes I already met with her. she seemed very agitated and in a rush.She has this attitude like she is entitled to everything when its very clear she's not " Sadie told him.He sighed and leaned back bothered by what he just heard" Kayla....i should have known." Sadie looked at him amused " is there something I should know? How did you know who she was?I haven't even said her name" Sadie told him as a waitress came to give Jason his order to go."Shes not someone who you should trust.Look I'm going back to my brothers restaurant if you want to see liv you are welcome to join me."Jason sat up grabbing his bag and started walking to his cam.Sadie thought about it. and quickly followed behind him.Once they got to hia car he opened the door for her and let her in."I want you to tell me about Kayla.why do you say she's not trusting when she's trying to help me find liv?" Sadie asked him.He got in and turned on the car " She's my ex girlfriend...but not for the reason you would think." Sadie rolled her eyes "if this is a lovers quarrel I want no part of it!!!" Jason laughed at her response." Like I said not what you think...its a long story but I can make it quick for you." Sadie stayed quiet and nodded waiting for him to start."she was my friend in school ...she "fell in love" with my older brother after our parents passed and he took over everything.they grew serious got engaged and that's when she started getting closer to me saying that my brother was very controlling and was never there for her.we got close and well started seeing each other behind his back."he told her as Sadie starred at him." I'm not proud of that one bit but I thought we were in love and when my brother found us before the wedding I thought things were going to be better for us.We left on her honeymoon trip and gave her everything even extended the trip until she wiped me dry of everything.When we came home she changed completely with me" Sadie started to feel bad for him but still listened to him."she became furious when we found out that my brother moved on and has been trying to get him back.I had my last straw when I heard her screaming at liv this morning thinking that I didnt hear her words.I ended it with her."Jason said as he pulled into the parking lot beside the restaurant."I'm so sorry I cant believe she did that " sadie told him." If you dont believe me you can ask liv she's not one to lie." Sadie smiled "its Sadie by the way...my name. Well one thing I know is true is that liv is not one to lie.She is such an amazing person very talented too."Jason opened the door and helped her out as he grabbed the food and closed the door." its a beautiful name....Im Jason by the way sorry for such a late introduction.come this way she's working right now actually."Jason told her as she walked by his side.

Sadie stopped for a bit as she looked at Jason walking ahead of her.He Looks so different compared to the men I have dated but in a way it's really soothing meeting someone who isn't aware of my social status.She snapped back to reality when he turned to look at her and walked towards him." sorry I got lost in thought" Sadie told him as he opened up the door for her.When they both walked in Jason saw Ian at the register " hey where is liv? I brought someone who is looking for her."Ian looked at Sadie confused and responded to Jason." she went with Maddie to help deliver a few orders but she will be back in half an hour." Jason turned to Sadie with a smile " well now we wait....if you dont mind me keeping you company of course."very well ...I will admit this has been a very pleasant conversation."she told him as she grinned sitting down by the nearest empty booth. Jason gave Ian his food and went to sit down with Sadie in front of her." Tell me Sadie how do feel about this small town?"he asked her trying to start a conversation with her."Let's get things straight.If that is your version of small talk you sir are quite terrible at it.Now if you are trying to invite me out for dinner then let me know the time and location" Sadie told him with full confidence leaving Jason shocked and speechless."You are a very straightforward woman....Honestly I dont know how a woman like you is not married yet."Sadie looked at him and smiled " what makes you think I'm not married or currently seeing someone?" Jason grabbed her hand and pointed to her ringless finger." You don't have an engagement or wedding band on.And if you were seeing someone then why is such a beautiful woman traveling by herself?"Sadie looked at her hand entwined with his big warm hand." You make a good point but I for one do not let anyone control me or my actions."Jason had a huge grin on his face that was very clear for Ian to see from where he was." I would marry you in a heart beat"Jason told her as she laughed in shock at his comment."You would marry me not knowing how crazy I can be when I put my mind to something?"she joked realizing that he was still holding her hand causing her to blush." You don't believe me?I can be stubborn too you know...who knows maybe we're a perfect match."Sadie couldn't stop smiling " we dont even know each other what makes you think I would do something like that?"Jason smiled at her and lifted her face as she looked down." then let's start with dinner tonight."

Liv walked in with Maddie and saw Ian looking very cheerful as he attended the register." someone looks very suspicious right now" she said as she placed a kiss on his cheek."how could I not be...I have an amazing woman by my side and from this angle I am currently watching my brother for once actually smile while having a conversation with another woman who isnt Kayla."Liv seemed surprised and turned to look at the direction where Ian was facing.she was only able to see the back of the woman who was very obvious not from that town.Liv looked at her once again and felt that some how she looked familiar."she looks familiar but wont know until I see her front side" liv told him causing him to remember."Oh yeah now that you mention it she came looking for you."At that moment Jason saw Liv talking with Ian." well even though I would like to continue your person of interest is here and I don't want to keep you waiting any longer."Sadie snapped back and turned to where jason was looking seeing liv close to the entrance talking.She immediately got up and walked to her " Liv!!!its you!!!I cant believe it ...."Sadie said as she went straight to hug her." Sadie you're actually here!!! I cant believe you are here in front of me!!!"liv said as she returned the hug and felt tears of joy coming down her face.

Sadie looked at liv with so much joy."you look even more beautiful than the last time I saw you.You look like a complete different person standing in front of me full of confidence."Liv smiled at Sadie " you haven't changed a bit ... why are you here? you didn't have to come here."Sadie turned to the brothers who were right by them."you left without saying anything to anyone...we were worried that something happened to you after what happened the night before." liv looked down " I'm sorry I should have told you . . .its just I didnt want to interfere with anything.I felt alone,betrayed,honestly scared for my life." Sadie sighed and hugged her once more "you did what you felt was needed.But now you can come home...Im sure once he sees you things will change and we can go back to how things were."

"I cant go back...I have a life here.I started fresh and met someone who has helped me from the beginning to be who I am now." Liv told her as she stepped back to embrace Ian who was listening to them." I didn't know...Sorry ...maybe it's for the best.You deserve to be happy."Sadie said as she smiled at the happy couple." well we have alot to catch up on so if it's not a problem can you show me to the nearest hotel? I really want to freshen up." Liv turned to Ian who nodded his head." you're welcome to stay at our home of you would like.we can catch up later when I'm out of work." Sadie smiled" I dont want to be a bother ...but I would love that." Jason immediately got in the conversation " I can take her back home if you guys are fine with it." liv laughed at his response." sorry Sadie I forgot to introduce you to them.This is Ian my boyfriend who I'm officially living with and Jason is his younger brother who also lives in the same house.I hope that's not a problem."Sadie turned to Jason with a grin on her face." well I'm glad to know this."

" Her stuff is in my car we can get going now of you would like." Jason told Sadie as he opened the door for her.They both walked out together and drove off as liv turned to Ian " should I be worried? he just literally ended things with kayla and is after Sadie."
