Hades placed the bouquet of white tulips on the passager seat and held his stirring wheel firmly.
"Stop it Hades," he mumbled to himself. "Minthe is no good for you. The life you led when you were with her isn't a good one, it was destructive and careless, there's no way the fates would be talking about Minthe. It's Persephone, it has to be."
The god put his car into drive and sped towards Olympus university. It was still an hour until their agreed meeting time, but he had to get away from the underworld a little and distract himself from the thoughts he was having.
He pulled up and parked next to Persephone's dormitories before pulling out his phone and dailing in her number. As her phone rang, Hades noticed the different students who were staring at his car and whispering among themselves.
Before he could dwell on it much, the goddess picked up his call, her sweet voice melting his thoughts away instantly.
'Is that you parked outside my dorm?'
