Chapter 53: I Know You

 Selena, hearing Jorge answer looked at his eyes, dazzled by his words, yet her heart beat remained calm, unlike when she was with Kelvin.

When Kelvin was close to her in the conference room, her heart pounded louder, but now, with Jorge, even with his unexpected words, she didn't feel nervous or experience a racing heart. The surprise came from Jorge because she didn't expect such an answer from him.

Unbeknownst to Jorge and Selena, Kelvin was outside Jorge's office, overhearing their conversation. Minutes after they left him alone in his office, he ordered food, but eating alone made him restless. He lost his appetite.

Closing the food, he stood up and headed to Jorge's office. There, he heard Jorge asking Selena if she was still interested in knowing about him, and he waited for her response.
