Quentin was frightened by James's malicious gaze and blamed himself for saying things he shouldn't have.
Quentin's words made Kara have an ominous feeling.
"It can't be Madam Hemming, right?" Kara asked.
"No, I was wrong. James, don't overthink it." Quentin wanted to cover up.
James stared at him coldly. He and Kara had the same guess. Looking at Quentin, James was sure that those guesses were correct.
James didn't understand why he should seek revenge on his grandmother for his mother's death.
James recalled what Jordon had said to him. At that time, when Jordon mentioned James' grandmother, James thought he was looking for an excuse. But now he heard Quentin mention his grandmother again.
James had no choice but to think that way.
"Quentin, tell me. Why should I take revenge on Zoey?"
He stood up and drew near to Quentin with a frightening aura.
Quentin took a few steps backward. His foot hit the sofa. He stumbled and fell into it.
