The unconscious silver haired young man was on the ground of the chamber room.

A dark smoke from her body came out, it was Titus.

He formed his physical body as he immediately looked on the young man's well-being.

Titus glared at the murky dark shadow, "What did you do?!"

With a hint of smirk on its voice, it stated, "Titus, my dear Titus. You don't need to worry, she'll wake up tomorrow."

The eerie voice turned into a gentle feminine voice as it whispered to the deity's ear.

It stretched its murky shaped hands and pointed to the place where should the broken piece would be, the first fragment.

Titus looked to it and the first fragment was now slowly entering the body of the youth.

"Then how will you maintain the protection of this institute?"

"My dear Titus, as my close friend, you know it. As the guardian of the first fragment, I'll sustain its holy place until my last energy drains. I'm just Pandora's piece so I'll just disappear after that."

He looked at Quin and the latter just nodded back.

Headmaster Spinther proceeded to his office and activated the teleportation array that could bring him straight to the chamber room.

He appeared infront the cell door with its pressure stone and immediately inputted his qi energy.

Day 5. The end of the beginning.

The seven students roamed around the school ground in order to find and welcome their teacher's upcoming match with their wishes of luck. They had known that the young man already arrived in the institute.

Knowing that their teacher was somehow being weird yesterday due to her sudden escapade.

Without warning, their was an odd feeling telling them that this might be their last time on seeing their teacher.

Something would happen today that they didn't know about.

"My premonition's telling me that teacher is hiding something from us," Kai Sun opened up to the others.

They were infront of the their class hall as they decided to just wait for the silver haired young man here.

"Yes. A-and my instincts is giving an odd feeling like something bad going to happen today," Li Li timidly stated as she looked down on her doll.

Lith patted her head to calm down the gloomy yet scared girl.

Even Lerrent has a bad feeling today.

'Should not be teacher's tournament.'

He thought.

The silver haired young man didn't stop at the class hall because she was invited by Ji Ah with Anith to watch Mika's match.

"Instructor Chun, this gonna be a good fight! That arrogant Secosana student from Zenzen continent will have his right beating!"

Ji Ah exclaimed with confidence on her tone while flipping her fiery red hair

Anith helplessly sighed in responds to the young lady's display as he led Chun towards their respective seats.

Chun was distracted in her thoughts while thinking what happened yesterday. She asked Titus about it as she forgot the occurrence afterwards when she entered the chamber room as well as what happened there.

The deity only said that she successfully obtained the first fragment and that's the reason why she was feeling a bit complete or might be she just thought it.

"Now, we welcome to start this tournament today with an incredible match from both representing leaders of two group of students. From Slatercort continent, where demi-humans hailed and the demons came from---"

The host paused as he frowned to what he was reading, while an expression of is-this-the-right-introductory-? can be read on his face.

"Right… let me first give you a trivia before we proceed on the introduction for the competitors," the host smiled and dazzled the audience with his charming-look.

Today's host was Degris, an invited celebrity that specializes on hosting and leading the audience with his charming and funny nature. Other than being a celebrity, he was rumored to be the manager of the mysterious Circus organization which only gathered cultivators who had high magic proficiency.

"The people here already knew about the Great War that happened six hundred years ago and the Slatercort continent was one of its collateral damage and because of the dark energies that escaped from the dead Drakkuna, it created hybrids that we now called demons. The demons live in the Slatercort continent, specifically in the dark lands which was half of the continent's land and ruled by the Demon King while the other half was ruled by the demi-humans' king and it's obviously lived by the demi-humans."

Demi-humans were half humans and half deity, the last pure humans during the war in that continent was turned into half deities in order to resist the dark energy of Drakkuna and avoid being a demon.

After the long explanation, Degris stopped for a moment leading the crowd in a tense atmosphere.

Talking about the demons, their mutual nemesis.

Even though the demons had stayed low for the past two decades, losing three-fourths of the demon's population due to the war that they declared to the demi-humans because they wanted to expand their land. In the end, it was a loss to them and a loss to the Demon King as its only heir was rumored to be enchanted by a divine beauty that it made its son to abandon the throne and its land.

Hearing the Demon King word, Chun felt that Anith tenses while Ji Ah was glaring at the host. But she ignored it as she felt that not only them had a tense aura because the people around them was on it too due to what Degris had said.

Chun praised the host on her mind as she continued to listen but she creased her brows, hearing the rumor from the people near her.

'What is that rumor their saying about Art falling for a beauty? Such garbage.'

"Well, it's good that we will be witnessing one of the strength of a demi-human that came from Sororite Academe and it's opponent will be from the great Zenzen continent. The only continent who was known for their revolutionary chefs, if you're a foodie. This continent is the foodie's paradise and not only that their crafted food had qi energy on it that could make a cultivator advance its level to another leap by just consuming it. Such a satisfying feat, your stomach will be sated as well as your cultivation!" Degris enthusiastically spoke and his charming smile, again, captivated some young ladies on the crowd.

"With no much delay, this match will be between Mika from Sororite Academe of Slatercort continent and Yuma from Secosana Institute of Zenzen continent!"

The crowds cheered as Mika and Yuma appeared in the middle from their respective waiting location.

Yuma with his dignified aura waved and bowed at the crowd, making the audience cheered louder.

Mika didn't do any flashy gestures and just sent his signature gentle smile at the people that made the young ladies heart beated faster as their faces reddened due to the overwhelming allure that the young man emitted.

Knowing the advantage of having a handsome face, the ordinary-looking Yuma glared at his opponent. He will surely beat that face until it was unrecognizable.

Degris then settled the audience as he announced the start of the match while reminding them the rules.

"This is not a death match so you don't need to kill one another. Killing the other will be disqualified. To win this, you must let your opponents admit their defeat or just beat them down until they recognized that they're already defeated," Degris stated in his funny way and the rules was truthfully like that but it was in a formal way yet the former preferred to humor the crowd as he don't like to have a serious atmosphere.

"So remember no killings, okay? Just beating… oh I almost forgot that no inflicting of vital attacks, okay? Just beating."

Some of the people present couldn't help but to chuckle at the way the host was speaking. He was speaking in a older brother tone, reminding his younger sibling to not do this or that.

Mika and Yuma agreed and they maintained their five meters distance while facing each other.

"So let's start!"

As if on cue, Yuma dashed towards his opponent. He can't let Mika attack first because it would be a disadvantage to him.

But he did not know that at the first minute that he was matched to this young man, his fate was determined.
