Chapter 4

Loyd's hometown Mahb was now under attack.

Soldiers equipped with weapons and strange tech, filled the land of his home like a swarm of bees.

"KILL THEM ALL!" Screamed a figure hidden beyond the shadows.

It was as if an army had been sent to invade Loyds hometown.

Truth be told, it was exactly that.

"DONT LEAVE A SINGLE BASTARD ALIVE!"

Another figure yelled, lurking in the shadows.

This time originating from the left side of the wave.

The shear size of the approaching wave of soldiers ravaged the town like crows scavenging on dead flesh.

Loyd still frozen, had not been able to grasp an idea on how the current situation unfolded.

"AHHHHHHHH"

Eruptions of screaming burst out.

Screams of pain, fear and trauma blanketed the atmosphere.

But the strange technology and explosions they possessed silenced those screams.

It seemed like the atmosphere had become a cage to a nightmare inescapable.

"PLEASE SPARE MY LIFE, I BEG OF Y.....

*Eruption*

*Strange eerie noises*

The soldiers mercilessly trampled and ripped any upcoming victims.

Suddenly, the fear kicked in heavy adrenaline.

Loyd had finally snapped back into reality and gained control over his body.

Fearing for his life, he started running the opposite way.

He ran like never before, darting through any smoke or obstacles.

He had never realised how scary the sensation of almost certain death would feel like.

As he was rushing through, he found a pathway way back to his home and remembered something very crucial.

He had left Kennen all alone!

He ran desperately pushing his body to the absolute limit piercing through the wind.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere had become toxic engulfed in flames; stenches of blood and explosives suffocated any who breathed the air.

Two small children ran away from their house.

Their parents were just killed whilst sacrificing themselves for their safety.

They managed to flee their death, still in fear, tears and confusion.

They escaped to a nearby house and went around it's corner.

They hid behind a large bin used for local waste waiting for this sudden calamity to be gone.

"TWO PESTS HAVE JUST RAN BEHIND THAT HOUSE TO THAT BIN" Exclaimed one of the soldiers.

"FETCH ME THEIR SOULS" The same figure replied hidden lurking in the depths of the army's shadows.

Then both the children started shaking in tremor. They knew they were gonna be killed and couldn't do anything about it.

They sat holding onto each other frozen in fear, patiently waiting for their death.

"Broth..er, are they going to get us too!?" shivered the little girl.

Her brother looked at her whilst tears ran down his face, "Dont worry, we will be fine, someone will save us"

But, the brother knew that it was all a complete lie to comfort his sister.

Because he was still left traumatised by the merciless brutalilty his parents faced whilst protecting them.

"It will be ok"

"It will be ok...." tremored the brother with eyes open wide.

These were the only words that came out of his mouth after that.

Then slowly, the heavy thuds of giant soldiers advanced their way.

His little sister now bursting in tears and clenching onto her brother also knew what awaiting for them.

"Broth..

*Chains of bullet like noises start*

*Strange eruption*

A chain of bullets and explosives ripped the flesh and bones of the children to shreds, scattering them in and around the house they were next to.

The house they were next had also been blown to bits.

All that remained of those two young children...

*Scenary zooms into the remains of the children*

...was the bloody hand of the sister held onto the head of the brother blown if half and burnt to ash...
