Roy glanced at his side to check on the sleeping Cynthia. She had cried to sleep as he held her. Gently he placed her down on her side after lowering it.
He stopped the car, confused as to where to take her. She had left the hotel and he couldn't take her home after what happened.
He got out of the car calling Becca.
"You know am busy so why did you call" she answered.
"I went to check on Cynthia and found her crying with a slap mark on her face so I took her away," he said.
"Get to the point, Roy"
"She is asleep in the car, it's getting late and I don't know where to take her," he said.
"Take her home," Becca said.
"Ahh, but I can't they just fought with her mother," he said.
"I meant your place you dummy. She's sad and lost so she needs your company. Her home isn't good and a hotel in her state isn't good either so your place is the safest" said Becca.
"Okay," he answered.
"And make sure to look after her, women love that and in her condition you really need it. So play your cards right and you might stand a chance to date her"
Roy nodded, "Alright thanks".
"Welcome, all the best," Becca said hanging up.
Roy got back to the car pulled his coat over the sleeping Cynthia and drove off.
....
"Cynthia am going to carry you out," Roy said to the sleeping Cynthia in his car.
"Mmm," she moved.
"We have arrived so am going to carry you out," he said gently.
With her eyes still closed Cynthia turned to him opening her arms so he could carry her. A little smile appeared on his face as he bent down to carry her out. She held on to him going back to sleep.
He walked in and stopped in the living room confused about where to put her.
"Should I put her in my room or the couch? " he murmured. His eyes moved down to the sleeping Cynthia.
"I guess the bed will be more comfortable" he answered himself.
He walked through the hallway to his room placing her down quietly.
She turned on her side pulling his pillow in her arms. He covered her and walked out.
