Indra managed to clear an E-Rank dungeon by himself. He comes out of it while using Stealth so no one can see him. People are surprised to see the Gate get closed so suddenly. They don't know the reason because nothing is known yet about the Gates & Dungeons.

He managed to level up to 14 by clearing this E-Rank dungeon, so he gained a lot of stats. But he still doesn't know his rank in the hunter ranking system. He's just sure that he is not an E-Rank with his current power, but he doesn't know whether he is still a D-Rank or already become a C-Rank.

'My intelligence stat is really lacking. I need to put more points in it to increase my magic skills' power and get more MP.'

1 intelligence stat point only gives an additional 100 MP points. It's a lot less than level up that gives him 1000 MP points. But intelligence stat affects magic skills' power, mana cost, effectiveness, and simplicity to be used by users.

Simply put, it makes magic skills easier to control because, unlike games, even though he has a system he still needs to activate his magic skills himself. It's already amazing how the methods to use them just popped into his head when he got the skill.

But to make them stronger, he needs to have better control and proficiency. Skill levels increase proficiency while intelligence stat increases control. He needs to raise both his skill levels and intelligence stat to make his magic skills even stronger.

"I was worried about raising my intelligence stat before, but now I really need to do it. After all, my next skills will mostly be magic skills. So the higher my intelligence stat is, the better it will be for me. My current power is enough for me to clear E-Rank dungeons alone so I don't need to worry that much. I can just grind levels in E-Rank dungeons until I'm strong enough to attack D-Rank dungeons."

Indra decides to add 17 points to the intelligence stat and make it 40 points. He still leaves 10 free points in case he suddenly needs it in the future. But for now, he thinks raising his intelligence stat is the most important because some of his skills need a lot of mana.

After he raises his intelligence stat, he sees the mana costs of his skills are reducing. It varies on each skill, but their mana costs are reduced by around 15-20%. It's a very great effect, especially on the skills that cost a lot of mana to use like Binding Chains or Sprint.

'Oh? I can feel the mana better now even though it hasn't been long since I awakened. I can even start feeling others' magic power although it's still faint. Also, I understand my skills more. This is an amazing feeling.'

Indra wants to test a few things, but it's already too late at night and he has school tomorrow. So he stops thinking about it and goes to sleep. He has changed his torn clothes on his way home with the clothes he prepared in his inventory just in case he meets someone he knows on the street.

After he cleared the E-Rank dungeon and closed the Gate, quite a lot of commotion happened in the Palace. People who are sent to check the Gates are discussing the sudden disappearance of this Gate. It is quickly reported to the Country because they need to report everything.

This incident is being discussed with other countries through their representative in the UN which has formed a Global Emergency discussion group after the Gates appear all over the world. But there is no other Gate that disappears like the one that Tiger clears.

All these countries still don't know how to close the Gate, after all. So they don't know why a Gate suddenly disappears. Well, even if this is 10 years later, people will still get confused if a Gate suddenly closes like that because they can't see the responsible hunter coming in and out of the Gate.

It has just been 2 days since the Gates appeared all over the world. People still don't know anything about it. They have received reports of many people suddenly getting stronger after the Gate appeared. Of course, they assume it is related to the Gate, but they can't send civilians to enter the Gate to test it.

The problem is, they have tried to send their soldiers to enter the Gate, but the soldiers can't enter at all. They were blocked by the Gate because only awakeners can enter it and there were no awakeners among the soldiers they sent.

The number of awakeners is still very low now. Of course, there are awakeners in the military. But they weren't chosen as the ones to check the Gate and they don't dare to report their sudden change in strength. After all, they don't want to be some experimental subjects.

But eventually, the existence of awakeners becomes known and the countries decide to send them into the Gate. But they are trying to find awakeners in the military and police first because they can't send untrained civilians.

The number of awakeners in the military and police is low, but they don't have any choice now because they can't send civilians. So the awakened soldiers and police are just tasked to scout the inside of the Gates.

They are equipped with weapons and cameras to record the interior of the Gate. The awakened soldiers and policemen succeed in entering the Gates, so the countries are quite relieved. But then they come out of the Gate with terrified expressions.

They come out quite fast. Some are getting nasty injuries and some don't even come out. Everyone that manages to come out reports that there are strange creatures inside the Gates. The creatures are different among the Gates, but they all have the same name in their mind for those creatures, monsters.

No one outside can see the appearance of those creatures because the cameras don't work in the dungeons. Firearms also don't work on the monsters, that's why they were running away. There aren't many of them but there are many monsters inside, so they can only run away.

Now the countries don't have any choice but to send the awakened civilians too because it will be a disaster if the monsters inside come out. Most countries prepare big compensations for the awakened civilians who participated while some just force them to serve their countries.

Most countries send a lot of awakeners into the Gate. But while some only send overwhelming numbers, the more careful countries check the awakeners' abilities first before sending them. They found out that there are awakeners with magical abilities like shooting fire from their hands and there are those who can break concrete walls with just a punch.

These more careful countries try to find awakeners with different abilities and make some strategies before sending the awakeners into the Gates. Meanwhile, the less careful countries only gather a lot of awakeners and send them into the Gate after some short briefings.

The results are obvious. The countries that prepare thoroughly have high success rates. Most of them manage to clear the dungeons which are still just E-Ranks. The awakeners manage to take items and samples of the monster corpses from the dungeons.

As for the countries that don't prepare well, most of them fail to clear the dungeons. Although some succeed, their casualties are not low either. Now they will need to prepare for another attack team or the monsters will come out of the Gates.

But at least now they know they need to kill all the monsters inside to close the Gates and only awakeners can enter the Gates to kill the monsters. That's why now some people are wondering why the Gate that Indra cleared was closed so suddenly. It is a mystery and will remain as a mystery.
