Un-Solo Leveling

This is my new fan-fiction work. A story of someone who gets a chance to reincarnate into the world of Solo Leveling. It's an alternate universe where Jin Woo's decision to reverse the time ended up badly for the Earth's future so he needs to fix it, but he needs someone's help. A young man's soul is chosen to help him save the Earth by going to the past. The young man receives the power to grow stronger in the world where Awakeners can't get stronger after their awakening, just like Sung Jin Woo, but not really the same. With his power, he is determined to keep getting stronger and protect the Earth. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ I have uploaded up to +30 chapters in my Patreon page. 17. Mining Problem

Killing those 2 scums makes Indra feel uncomfortable for a while. But he doesn't feel too guilty or gets depressed because of that. Maybe because he killed people who he judged as evil, not some innocents.

Jin Woo and Odin told him that he should always be prepared to kill humans because humans can be worse than the monsters inside the dungeons. Maybe that's the reason they gave him Calmness skill. To prepare for something like this and make sure he doesn't lose his mind.

But there's another problem that he realizes after killing them. He got more XP from killing those 2 awakeners than from killing monsters of the same rank. He realizes it after checking how much XP he got from the E-Rank guy compared to an E-Rank monster.

That E-Rank guy gave the same amount of XP as multiple E-Rank monsters. It must be the case for the C-Ranker too, that's why he could level up despite only having low XP before. But it doesn't mean he should have just killed awakeners to get stronger quickly because he feels like he will lose his humanity that way.

"Sigh, what's done is done. I will never kill innocents and only kill those who deserve it. But I won't go out of my way to hunt these kinds of people like some superheroes. I will deal with them if I meet them, but I won't look for them."

Indra decides to stop thinking about those 2 scums because they're not worth his time. Instead of them, he needs to think more about himself, on how to get stronger. He can't raid any dungeons today, so he needs to polish his skills to stay productive.

The next night, Indra finally finds a C-Rank Gate after checking 3 nearby Gates. It has been raided, but the raid team failed with half of them killed. So now the Hunter Bureau is preparing another attack team, but it will take a while and there is a risk that the Gate opens before that.

'Well, I guess I'll help you out and contribute to the community again.'

Indra sneaks into the Gate as usual and searches for the monsters. This dungeon's monsters are Werewolves and they aren't as strong as he thought. He easily breaks their ribs and dents their chests with just a punch, killing them instantly.

These monsters are C-Ranks, but their bones are like rotten wood in front of Indra's attacks. He was playing around with D & E-Rank monsters too much that he didn't realize his power had surpassed that of a C-Ranker and already entered the realm of a B-Ranker.

"Damn! This is a letdown. But these guys still give a decent amount of XP, thanks to the title effect that gives me +50% XP, and they're good targets to grind my skills."

Actually, even if he is a B-Rank now, hunting a C-Rank dungeon alone should still be difficult. But Indra can walk through it and kill the monsters easily.

"Seems like I grinded my skills too much that they become overpower."

His Muay Thai skill has reached Level 9 and gives a +90% attack power buff. It almost doubles his normal attack power, that's why his attacks are so deadly. Coupled with his Level 7 Battle Sense, he can fight even more effectively.

He also has his Hardening skill that has been leveled up to 8 because he uses it every day even when he doesn't fight. Now his skin is as hard as iron and he can harden his whole body now. This skill is enough to make him fight fearlessly because his enemies' attacks usually won't hurt him.

But the most helpful may be his Golden Eyes which have been leveled up to 6. He can see targets' weaknesses with Golden Eyes and even see the paths of their attacks. This skill is already very great even though it's not maxed yet, so Indra can't imagine how great it will be at max level.

Indra keeps fighting the Werewolves and uses them to polish his skills. The best way to train his skills is by using them in battles because then he can feel his skills better and find the best time to use them.

That's why he kept raiding D & E-Rank dungeons even though C-Rank dungeons have appeared for a while now. He doesn't have training partners, so he even used buffs on the monsters to understand their effects on others. Buffing weak monsters won't pose him any danger, that's why he used those monsters to train himself.

But now he finds out that he has overdone it and even C-Rank monsters like these Werewolves have become too weak for him now. Of course, there is a possibility of these Werewolves being on the weak side among C-Rank monsters. So he hopes he can find stronger C-Rank monsters next time.

Indra finds the boss's room quickly and almost enters it without hesitation. But the blue crystals sticking on the wall around the boss room door stop him in his tracks. It's the 1st time he sees these things, magic crystals.

"Woah, these crystals are really cool. They are expensive, so I obviously need to mine them."

He doesn't have mining tools, but he has weapons he looted from the monsters he killed. Swords or spears won't work well, so he uses Axe and Mace to break the magic crystals off the wall. The result won't be as good as using a pickaxe, but he can't really complain.

"I need to bring a pickaxe from now on. But a normal pickaxe won't do. Hmm, do I really need to steal a magic-enhanced pickaxe from a raid team? Those pickaxes are provided by Hunter Bureau, after all, so they are paid with taxes. I haven't paid taxes, but my parents have, so my parents also have ownership of those pickaxes. Yeah, it's very logical."

Indra keeps coming up with excuses to steal a magically enhanced pickaxe from Hunter Bureau while still mining. He eventually finishes mining all the crystals and puts them in his inventory. Then he rests to lower his fatigue before entering the boss's room.

The boss is an armored Werewolf that has a bigger body than the normal ones. Its claws & fangs are longer and seem to be made of metal. The armor is similar to samurai armor, but it only uses the parts for the upper body, lower body, and shoulders. It doesn't wear the helmet, arm guards, leg guards, gloves, and shoes. Maybe because they will hinder his mobility.

"Do you think you will be fine because you've covered most of your vitals?"

Indra grins as he charges toward the boss and the boss also charges toward him. The boss swings its claws strongly and Indra dodges it by moving to the left. That claw attack creates air blades that cut the hard floor quite easily.

The boss wants to attack Indra which moves to its left. But then Indra grabs its right wrist that's still extended after using that claw attack. It widens its eyes as Indra punches its right elbow from outside while pulling its wrist.

"ROARRR!"

The boss roars in agony as its elbow gets broken by Indra's punch. Its right arm bends inwardly because of that and it's very painful.

"I told you that protecting only your body is not enough. There are many ways to hurt you even without hitting your body."

But the werewolf boss is tenacious. It still can attack despite the pain it feels in its right arm. The boss sends another claw attack using its left claws. It sends a diagonal attack from below, but Indra dodges it by lowering himself.

"Your legs are open."

Indra kicks the boss's legs in a very low position and makes the boss fall forward. Then Indra jumps onto its big head and grins as he sits on its back. He hardens his fists and sends a barrage of punches at the boss's back neck.

The boss can't even fight back because his hands can't reach him and the punches shake its brain so hard, making it blank out. It finally dies after receiving Indra's punches for a whole minute. This guy truly has high durability because it can hold on for this long.
