Inside a dense forest, one could see several figures swiftly moving in the woods.

"This mission sucks; why do we have to look for some noble lost child." Said a figure as he leaped from one tree to another; with his claws.

"Dwayne, shut up. If you don't like it, then you can leave; we will complete this mission on our own." Said another figure.

"Can you all complete this mission without my sharp nose?..... Eh, I smell something; his way." Dwayne said, catching the scent of their target.

Before long, they entered an open field; and one can hear sounds of fighting.

"It seems like the intel was correct. But I don't know how these humans dare to attack a successor of a royal house in Beast-Man Empire territory." A beast man with features identical to a leopard said.

"Humans are getting bolder with each passing day, they dare to go on war with Beast-Man Empire and Orc Empire at the same time." A werewolf said as he saw some Human Knights attacking young Leo, (Lion-man, successor of a royal house).

"From what I heard, humans have summoned many Hero's from a different world to help fend off the demons. But even now I don't understand how humans can withstand the combined attack of both Orc's and Demons, and still have manpower left to attack us." Another Leopard man said.

"It's not our job to worry about this stuff, let's do what we are good at." Saying so the Werewolf charged at the group of Human Knights.

"F**k! The rescue team has arrived. Retreat, I repeat retreat!" Shouted a Knight covered in heavy armor, and began retreating.

Just as the Senior Knight took a few steps backward fury sharp claws descended upon him. Using his longsword the Senior Knight defended himself, and without having any thoughts of attacking he sprinted into the woods.

But under the assault of the Beast-men, only a few Knights were able to get away.

"Took you long enough!" The heavily injured young Leo said as he passed out; falling on the ground. It's been three days since he's been trying to get away from the human knights, but no matter how hard he tries they are always able to catch up to him.

In these 3 days, the young master of the Lion house faced death numerous times. Every time he encounters a group of human knights he has to burn his Ki, to get away. The number of times he burned his Ki and Bloodline far exceeded something his fragile could withstand.

His body has been in a state of emergency this whole time, now finally seeing the rescuing team, the last remaining strength in his body faded away. 

Surviving a hunting party of numerous juniors and a Senior Knight, without any Cultivation to speak of can be considered a miracle. And the young master of Lion house has done just that.

"Young Master….." An old Lion-man cried out when he saw the young Leo falling onto the ground. He quickly ran toward the young beast-man and supported him.

"Captain Richard, I have to trouble you to escort us back to Roar Castle." The old lion-man said to the captain of the Red Dagger mercenary group.

"Don't worry mister Black, we will do our best." Richard, the captain of the Red Dagger mercenary group, replied as he looked at the young Leo.

'His injuries aren't serious, but his innate Ki is all dried up, and even the bloodline in his body has gotten a lot thinner. It would be a miracle if he can reach the Holy Rank in the future.' Captain Richard thought to himself as he checked the young Leo's condition.

The World Elven has many different races residing across the globe. Some continents of the World are peaceful while others are filled with War and bloodlust. The Holy Spirit Continent is one of the many continents that are always at war.

In the Holy Spirit Continent, there are four major races, Humans, Orcs, Demons, Beast-Man, and Spirit Race.

15 years ago, Mask reincarnated in his World as the young beast-man of the Lion royal house. In the Beast-Man Empire there are many different Royal Houses, like Lion, Werewolves, Cat, Lizard, Bear, Hawk, Rat, Tiger, and so on; there are a total of 102 royal houses in the Beast-Man Empire.

Some of these houses are powerful, while some are not. Nevertheless, these royal houses have the authority to mobilize every single member of their species.

Although the Royal house of Lion's isn't one of the top royal houses in the Empire it is still fairly powerful.

When Mark first reincarnated in this world he was a little surprised, this world sounded a lot like the game he downloaded to play before his death. But as he grew up he eventually realized he was inside the Elven World, the same game he downloaded before his death.

Although at first, he wasn't able to accept being reborn as a beast-man; eventually he comes to terms with it. Because life as the young master of Lion house wasn't so bad, although living without a computer, games, and internet was difficult; but as time passed Mark found other interests.

A few days ago, Mark went to the Royal House of Tiger for some official business on the behalf of his father. But on his way back, he was ambushed by some Human Knights.

All his guards died trying to save him, and the only reason he was able to last until the rescue team arrived was all because of knowledge gained from studying the countless books in the Royal house.

But now that he has burnt too much of his Ki and Bloodline, Mark started wondering if he would even be able to cultivate in the future.

These were Mark's thoughts when he saw the rescue team killing off those god damn human knights.

'What!!' Mark was shocked hearing a voice sound in his head, but soon that shock turned into a pleasant surprise. 'Wait, did I just get a system?'

But unfortunately, he passed out due to exhaustion before he could figure out what exactly was happening. Did he trigger a system or not?
