Chapter seven

It has been three months since Ryu's first mission. His training and missions were going hand by hand. He had recently hit a limit on his progress and he can't seem to improve further.

He can currently fight against a normal Jonin. Ryu's advantage is his high chakra reserves and high damage of his fire style Justus. Not long after they started do mission Aizawa sensei decided to check out their affinities.

Kazuma has the affinity for water element while Mikasa has for wind element. Ryu's had a rare triple affinity for fire, wind and lighting. His fire affinity was higher than most and Ryu think it is due to the effect of the sun breathing style.Ryu's disadvantages lie in his small body and no real battle experience.

After doing a ton of D-rank missions, the Hokage decides to give us a C-Rank mission. Honestly, Ryu was going insane with so many D-rank missions, especially catching that dumb immortal cat. He hasn't stepped out of the village yet.

This mission came right on time. The son of the Daimyo of the Land of Tea came to vacation in Land of fire. Now for his return trip, he needs the help of some escorts for his safe travel. The mission is issued as a C-Rank mission in the Hokage office.

The Hokage just issues this mission to our team. Ryu was very excited to venture out of Konoha. The journey to Land of Tea from Konoha would be seven days long, so Aizawa-Sensei asked us to prepare our supplies in advance.

Ryu returned home and inform his uncle and aunt about the mission.

"It's time for you to adventure out of Konoha. Beware of everything when you are out on a mission. Many times, any unsuspecting passerby can turn out to be an enemy. Since this is a C-Rank mission, take some poison antidotes with you. The bandits and thugs you will confront during the mission usually coat their weapons with lethal poison to fight against Ninjas. Also, prepare your ration and all other necessities with you."

Fugaku lectured him about what to do and what not to do during the mission.

Ryu jotted down everything in my brain as he has completely no experience. his uncle just passed down his experience to me.

His aunt prepared some dry food for him. Ryu placed everything in a storage scroll and he was ready for his first mission.

****Next day in the morning****

All of the team meet at that entrance of the village as the convoy of the Tea Daimyo's son departs. The son of Daimyo sits in a carriage prepared for him as we travel.

The carriage was surrounded by twelve guards who protected the carriage. Another two carriages containing food and other necessities together with various other items followed closely. The daimyo's son's carriage was in middle.

The son of Daimyo remove the curtain of his carriage as he notices Ryu and question,

"What's with this kid here? Is he lost or something? How can he even protect anyone."

Ryu heard it but completely ignored him. Aizawa assures him as he replies,

"There is no need for you to worry about anything. Ryu here is a certified Ninja of our village and he is a young genius who graduated early. This speaks for his competency and skills. So, rest assured he can handle this mission."

Daimyo's son scoffs at this as he covers the carriage with the curtain and continues to travel. The carriages were moving slowly, we simply walk as we follow the carriage.

Ryu was enjoying the sceneries as this was his first time out of Konoha. His senses where fully operational as he searched for any suspicious activity.

His senses can cover up a radius of a km. Karin could sense Sasuke from a far distance during the war, So Ryu senses should increase as he grows.

Nothing suspecting happened until they reached the border of The Land of Tea. On the fourth day, since their departure, they finally entered the Land of Tea.

The convoy is moving through a steep valley as we went on full alert. This valley is the perfect spot for an ambush if the enemy wants to stop us.

"Sensei" Ryu calls out

"Where and how many?" Aizawa ask as he got serious.

"Six on top of the valley ten hiding at a hole in the ground no ninja involved" Ryu said as he started stretching.

Ryu has already told Aizawa about his ability so when he called him, Aizawa already knew what he meant.

As they approached the ambush spot, A large wooden logs began to drop from atop the hill. Ryu immediately kneaded some Chakra and made hand signs,

He spewed out a large ball of fire as it burnt down the logs. Only ashes remained of the logs as they fell. The enemies were surprised to see this but they immediately reacted by throwing down large stones. I turned to my teammates waiting for their response.

As they already experience before this they quickly respond to the situation.

Kazuma immediately made some hand signs as he spewed out some water from his mouth,

{Water Style: Pressure Jet}

The pressure water in the form of a jet collided with the rocks and smashed them into dust. The descent of the of the rocks stopped as only small rock pieces and debris fell toward the carriage. These rock pieces were deflected by Mikasa using her *wind palm* as she jumped to protect the carriage.

Ryu and Aizawa start to move as they faced against the Bandits. Kazuma and Mikasa stayed behind to protect the carriage together with guards. The confrontation between us and Bandits begin. The bandits pose no threat to them.

They were too slow to fight me even when he doesn't use his Sharingan. He unsheathed a his in the right hand as he start to fight them.

Ryu slashed the neck of one of the bandits as blood start to spew out from his neck. He felt disgusted at this as this was too much blood.

His stomach starts to churn as the contents of his breakfast were about to spew out. He held them in for a while use his breathing technique as he helped finished off the other bandits. Aizawa was done on his side too as he approached him.

Ryu nod to him as he run towards a nearby bush and start to puke out his breakfast. This was his first kill in this world and he felt very conflicted about this. In his previous world, he was a hacker whose job was a computer and now in this current life, his job is to kill.

He was once again faced the reality of the situation as he muttered to myself,

"So, I have taken my first step to be embroiled in the chaos of this world".

He breathed deeply to calm down his nerves as he walked out of the bush. Not noticing that his Sharingan was already on.

"Are you ok?" Aizawa questioned him.

Ryu nodded to him

" but your eyes" Aizawa said

Ryu finally noticed that his Sharingan was on. Offing it he said" l am fine now. Let's regroup."

He was planning to show it anyway.

AN: Hello everyone, hope you enjoyed my novel. it has really been stressful one writing this novel. Although I'm doing it for fun I still try to make it to the best of my abilities. I'm really not a writer. I mostly decided to write this fan fic as the ideas where just in my head and needed some where to put them.
