" Lilitania Leondra " — Stated in the plate, The man just stared at the picture with a inscrutable facet as if he had no emotions to express or is just empty.

He slowly touched the portrait while holding his emotions inside as an old butler walked towards him.

" Ah, your awake young master. " – Butler Ludwig spoke while staring at him.

" .... " – He stood there silent while staring at the portrait.

" Young Master John, perhaps it is time to let go the past. How much longer you'll stay inside the palace. Leondran family need its master to return, I am sure Lady Lilitania would also be wishing that. " – Butler Ludwig said whilst looking at John.

" she was my world Ludwig, without her i am nothing.. " – John replied as his eyes were fixed on the portrait.

" Your still John Leondra, 115th head of House of Leondra and the richest man in the world.. " – Ludwig replied to John.

" What's the point of being rich when you have no family Ludwig, without love money lacks any value. " – The reply to Ludwig's words by John.

" Apparently the ones who killed her are thriving at the Imperial Capital while your just sulking here... " – Ludwig without any hesitation said that..

" .... " – John went silent as he looked at the face of his late wife.

They should be punished... i remained inside for 2 years while they remained happy.... that's not fair... they must feel the same... they must suffer... noo... they must die.. a brutal... a gruesome... no no... they must beg for death... they must be tortured... they must watch their loved ones getting pillaged and murdered... they must watch all of it... they must beg for a quick death... but should be in misery for 2 years... before dying...

" Sure... prepare the carriage.. tell the knights to be ready.. we are going to the capital. " – John looked at Ludwig as he gave his answer which suprised Ludwig.

" Wonderful young master.. " – Ludwig smiled before walking away.

" For you my dear, I'll destroy this world.. " – He placed his forehead on the portrait before shedding a single tear as he then walked towards his room to prepare.

The Continent of Alora has 3 empires spanning across its vast lands. Zelarian Empire of the north, Satarose Empire to the west and Arendere Empire to the east.

Arendere Empire is an Imperial monarchy with an Emperor as state head while having numerous noble households control the territories inside it's lands.

House of Leondra owns half of Arendere as it held the entire eastern and southern coastlines and majority of the arable lands.

The House Helena which is the Imperial Household had to fight Leondra numerous times before both sides came into an agreement.

Agreement was simple as the lands of Leondra will join Arendere under the flag of Helena, But will have autonomy and knights of Leondra will remain protecting the lands of Leondra.

House Of Leondra produced a lot of crops and minerals alongside with good equipments as nations across the globe trades specifically with the house through 8 port cities it held.

Untold amount of richness came to the house making it single handedly the most powerful without any effort.

John Leondra took over as the family head at the age of 7 after his family got murdered by bandits outside the Leondran lands as it's speculated that nobles from Arendere Empire instigated such an act due to jealousy.

John married at the age of 16 with a girl of same age named Lilitania who was a bastard child of the Emperor as her mother was a runaway noble woman who is said to have been raped by the emperor.

Her mother was protected and lived inside the Leondran lands as Lilitania was born and lived inside the Leondran lands, where she met John.

They were in love the moment they're eyes met. So much so everyone around them felt a hint of jealousy at their love.

At the age of 22, John lost Lilitania who was murdered after getting raped inside the palace of Duke Peasoci as officially bandits invaded and committed the act but it's speculated that the Duke did it.

This broke John who wasn't there to protect his love. He locked himself inside the Golden Palace of Leondra for 2 years straight.

" Young Master, Your back.." – The Commander of the Knights of Leondra said before he bowed which was followed by the rest of the knights bending their legs.

" It's been a while Uncle Garrion. " – John said as he walked towards them.

The knights of Leondra were a feared forced in the continent as they were known for their honour, loyalty and skills. Unstoppable force who'll fight to the last men for their guarding the family.

But the knights were banned from moving outside the lands owned by Leondra due to fears but it was simply to prevent them from guarding the family outside the lands owned by them.

" Young master, I'll dispatch 2 knights to protect you inside Arendere mainlands and we'll escort you till the border. " – The Commander said while bowing.

" Thank you Uncle for your services and loyalty.. i hope i could be a fitting leader for you all. " – John replied as he too bowed before getting inside

After 8 days of travel John arrived at the Imperial Capital City Helianopolis, It was a beautiful City as it was filled with massive buildings and flocks of humans.

John walked towards the summer palace which was used only for grand meetings between the nobles and the Imperial family.

" Wait, look there.. "

" it's him..."

" oh my John is back..."

" hmm.. "

" Oh boy should we tell him his wife was tasty... "

" Let's go and talk with him.. "

" Unlucky bastard is back... "

People were buzzing like bees at his sight as John felt utterly bored as such behaviours from his POV was boring and petty.

" John, welcome back we missed you.." – Veran Peasoci, The heir to House Peasoci said while walking towards John.

" .... " – John just stood there silently while he looked around rather than at that brat.

" Oh John, i thought you'll never leave the palace i mean who wouldn't be sad after their wife is dead.. especially if that wife is soo tasty. " – Out of irritation it seems Veran spouted something he shouldn't have spouted like an idiot as he approached John's shoulder with his hand.

Honestly, i don't think anyone is gonna miss this guy if i kill him right now but it seems he has information... information is valuable so perhaps i should just force him to puke all the information after some good old torturing... ha.. i am sorry Lily, I'll be the cruel villain from now onwards who shall not show any mercy...

" Hmm, you no longer need that hand anyways so I'll be taking it.." – John said as the left hand which nearly touched his shoulder got separated cleanly from Veran's body with a clean slice by one of John's knight as John grabbed the hand before fell down.

The entire summer palace was filled with silence out of pure shock as they couldn't believe 2 knights of Leondra was with John and the Duke's son got his hand chopped off.

" This is outrageous.... my father will kill you.. " – Veran said while in pain as his face was filled tears and he was holding his left arm or what was left of it as to try and prevent the bleeding.

" Your gonna run to you daddy crying for help eh... just die you useless wench. " – John grabbed Veran's head gently before landing a hit using his knee which knocked the brat down.

" Take him back... torture him and squeeze every bit of information... then slit his belly open and feed him his own organs.. make sure to cook his head and send to the Duke as well.. a fitting punishment.." – John said while smiling as one of his knights grabbed veran and walked out.

" A tyrant... " One of the Nobles said..

" Hmm, a tyrant.. no i am the Villain who'll drown you all in your own blood if you cross my paths.. " John said while smiling as he placed the hand on the table..

" when the Duke comes, give this to him... tell him he'll receive more gifts like this.." John said it before he left the palace since everyone was just to scared to approach him.

" Interesting...." – Luna Marie Helene, The Imperial Princess and heir to the throne of Arendere said whilst watching this from the second floor.
