An hour later when everything had cooled down, Ezra began icing Jade's dislocated shoulder after it had been set back into its socket. She was wearing a sling now.
"Am I pressing too hard?"
"No. That's good," she replied, flexing her sore shoulder just a little bit. "I'm sorry I lied to you," Jade went on.
"Oh. You're talking about your name. It's fine," he said, putting down the ice pack on the edge of the table on which she sat. "I reckoned you didn't know who you could trust from who you couldn't. That is why you lied about your name. What is your name if you don't mind me asking now?"
"My name is Jade...Jade Yamashiro."
"I see," he nodded his head before folding his arms. "Where did you learn to fight like that Jade Yamashiro and why were Dai Lee assassins after you? Yes, I know who they are," Ezra then said when he saw her eyes widening.
