He entered his room and dropped his laptop bag on his bedside drawer before sitting down on his favorite adjustable sofa, leaning back and stretching his legs with relief.

Then the event of the day started playing through his mind all over again. He didn't want to think about how he was strangling her so he pushed the unpleasant memory far to the back of his mind.

He got up from where he was lying and walked to where he kept his laptop bag. He sat on the bed, opened it, and accessed the interns' file that his assistant had forwarded to him in the morning, which he has not found the time to open yet.

He clicked on the one that has the name Emmanuella Ayinke Da'Silva and started reading through her curriculum vitae. When he was done reading every tiny detail about her, he enlarges the passport photo attached with the file and stared at her face.

'I should call her to know how she's doing, right?' He thought to himself and immediately picked his phone before he would change his mind. He started searching for the number that he just saved on his phone before he left the office.

"Hello, Emma's phone." A soft female voice answered Leo's call

"Hellooo... The voice repeated after some seconds when Leo didn't say anything, snapping him out of his thought

"Are you Emma's sister?.." Leo asked tentatively. He wanted to be sure whether to disconnect the phone or continue talking because he did not wish to have another run-in with Omolade and her tongue lashing all over again.

"No, my name is Abby. I'm Emma's friend. Who is speaking please?"

"This is Leo... I..."

"She's sleeping. What do you want!?" The voice turned from speaking nicely to snapping at him in seconds. Not that Leo blames her, he deserved to be snapped and screamed at after what he did to her friend.

"Uhm..., I'm sorry! I just want to know how she's doing?" Leo said again and paused, expecting the girl to tell him how Emma was doing

"And what again!?... Is that all?" She asked him sarcastically

"No that's not all!... If you could please pass my message on to her?..." Leo asked but didn't allow her to respond before he continued.

"I know you all think of me as a monster... Who wouldn't after what I did to her?... I just want you all to know that it wasn't deliberate... I saw her... I mean... I wouldn't deliberately... Huhh, never mind!" Leo gave up after struggling with his words for some seconds. How could he tell her he thought he was strangling a monster!?

"Please just tell her I'm very sorry and I wish her quick recovery!" Leo finished and immediately disconnected the call before she would think of some insulting words to abuse him with.

He then went back to staring at Emma's face again before deciding to search for her on social media. He searched for her Facebook account and was scrolling through her posts when his phone started ringing.

The number calling was not saved on his phone which was surprising since he has never given the number to anybody that is neither friend nor a close family member. He decided to pick after some seconds and the soft voice of the lady that picked Emma's phone earlier sounded in his ears

"Hello... It's Abby, Emma's friend"

"Yeah, I know... Hi!"

"Okay... Uhmm, I just want to say that I'm sorry!... Even though what you did to her was inhumane... I mean you could have killed her you know!?... I just want to say sorry because It's not my place to be rude to you, I shouldn't have talked to you in such a manner, please accept my apology and goodnight!

Leo was surprised, staring at his phone, even long after the call has been disconnected. 'Did she just apologized because she snapped at him?' He wondered to himself unbelievably.

'Not all girls are unreasonable after all' He thought to himself and went back to looking at Emma's Facebook posts. There was nothing there to see so he searched for her on Instagram and saw her under the name Emma Silver.

He was surprised to see that her Instagram account has been verified with more than five hundred thousand followers and she was also an event planner.

He also saw that she was a party animal. She attended parties almost all weekends. How did she manage to combine school with these activities? He wondered to himself in awe. He saw some pictures of her at a pool party. The bikini she was wearing was sinfully sexy, giving him an immediate hard-on.

There was another picture of hers where she was showing her back view. So she also has a tattoo, Leo thought to himself staring fixatingly and at the tattoo of the three red roses connected by a vine at her lover's back.

He loved her tattoo and loved her body more. He screen-munched most of the personal pictures of her wearing a bikini and saved them inside a special file on his laptop and phone.

He couldn't find any of Dave's pictures, but one male face was constant.

'He's very handsome.' Leo noted to himself with displeasure. He saw the picture of both of them in a gym together that he tag her with hashtag relationship goals.

"Yeah right! All these are going to change when we get married I assure you asshole." He mumbled angrily to himself before realizing what he just said.

"It's going to be a contract marriage idiot! Don't forget that and get carried away. Besides she's still the enemy that they sent to seduce him to get information out of my company." He murmured weakly to himself again without much convictions.

He couldn't stop himself from going back to staring at the pool party picture collections all over again. His dick was now so hard it was beginning to throb. 'What have I brought over myself?' He wondered staring down at himself?

'How am I ever gonna get rid of this? God, I hate cold showers, especially on a cold night, but right now, do I have a choice? Maybe I should keep Fola around because of days like this? He selfishly thought to himself before a knock sounded on his door.

"Who is it?"

"It's Titi, I brought your food."

"Yeah, come in... I'm in the bathroom." Leo shouted through the door and hurried inside the bathroom. He couldn't allow his baby sister to see him like this.

Titi thought he would have been done by now so he could help her get the door... But no he's still in the shower. She balanced the tray on her hip holding it in place with one hand before opening the door with the other and quickly pushed it inside with her shoulder.

She placed the tray on the only table inside the room and arranged them properly, pushing the table nearer to his favorite chair before straightening up to leave, satisfied with how everything was placed.

"Hurry up so it doesn't get cold. She shouted through to him but doubted if he would hear her inside the shower with the water running. She was about to leave when she saw the open laptop with the picture of the girl displayed on it.

From where she was standing, she found the picture familiar, so out of curiosity, she moved closer to the bed to have a look. She was surprised to see the picture of who it was...

"Emma!" Her eyes widen with surprise as she whispered her name. I'm sure not going to leave without getting the gist about her from brother Leo. She immediately moved towards the bathroom door and started banging on the door...

"Big bro!... Brother Leo!..." Leo who was inside the shower couldn't hear her but she continually banged on the door anyway till he answered her

"What!?... Titi is that you? What's up?"

"Yes, it's me. Please I'm still in your room, so please don't come out naked o" Titi said and laughed. She remembered when their mother once entered her brother's room without knocking and quickly rushed back out immediately after. The embarrassing look on her face that day was priceless.

She went back to the bed and laid on her stomach, scrolling through the pictures that Leo already saved inside his laptop.
