They kept quiet, linking hands as they walked to where the car was parked. Jake opened the car door for Freya, who looked up at him with love before settling down. Jake joined him afterwards.
"This was a beautiful night. Thank you for making it worthwhile," Jake murmured against her ear, brushing her knuckles.
"Anything for my baby. I promise to create only happy memories with you and nothing more."
"I like the sound of that."
"I have one final surprise for you."
"Oh, wow. Shoot," Freya giggled.
"I have arranged for you to move down to Seattle. It will give you a better opportunity. As much as I hate the idea of sending you miles away from me, I think that is the one place that holds a better chance than Oklahoma. You've potentials which this city is swallowing up."
