Alive and In Another Body

"What do you mean Shen Yi got into an accident." Li Lingyun asked his assistant. He had just gotten back from another business trip when Gu Wei informed him that Shen Yi was involved in an accident and his daughter won't stop crying thinking her mother is going to die.

"Drive to Sun Villa"

"Don't you want to go to the hospital." Gu Wei asked.

Li Lingyun sighed and said "What's the use? And besides I don't want Li Xiao to keep crying, she might fall sick."

Gu Wei nodded and immediately drove to Sun Villa.

As soon as Li Lingyun entered his house the first thing that greeted him was the loud cry of his daughter. He saw the maids trying to calm her down but it was all to no avail. He immediately walked towards her and lower himself to her height as he hugged her tightly.

Li Xiao who felt her dad's warmth cried the more as she said "Daddy, I want to see mummy."

Li Lingyun carried his daughter and said "You will see her very soon. Now stop crying, the hospital don't allow crying children to enter."

"Really?" Li Xiao asked with her big and innocent eyes as she looked at her father.

Li Lingyun kissed his daughter forehead and said "I would never lie to you. So if you want to see mummy, then you have to stop crying."

Gu Wei looked at his boss and he felt creep out. How could someone who just destroyed three well known companies and killed all their underlings act as if he is a saint.

Li Lingyun gave his daughter to one of the maids and told her to get Li Xiao ready because he was taking her to the hospital.

Suddenly Gu Wei received a message and his face became pale as he read it.

Li Lingyun who saw how pale his secretary face was, asked "What is it?"

"Lin Yan..." Gu Wei said, trying to digest the information he just received.

Li Lingyun narrowed his eyes as he asked "What happened to Lin Yan?"

"Lin Yan is dead. She was hit with a car in front of Li Corporation."

"Find out everything that happened to Lin Yan before she died and also find out if it was really an accident."

"You think it isn't?"

"She was hit in front of my company, of course it isn't." And just then the maid came in with a refreshed Li Xiao, and immediately Li Lingyun faced held a warmth in it as he looked at his daughter with affection. He bent down to his daughter level as he said "Li Xiao look so pretty without any tears on her face." And then he noticed a paper on her hand. He took it and was confused with what she had drawn.

"What is this?" Li Lingyun asked his daughter softly. Even he could not understand the drawing his daughter has made.

Li Xiao beamed with smile as she said "I draw mother father and Li Xiao, very soon we will be a big happy family. Aunt Lin told me mother loves me very much but she has not realized it. So I thought drawing this picture will make mother realized her love for me."

Li Lingyun felt his heart tremble as he heard her words. It was a foolish mistake, he had let his guard down and was drugged that night. Both him and Shen Yi was drugged and that was how they slept with each other. When he heard that Shen Yi was pregnant and she wanted to get rid of it, at first he didn't care. But the thought of having a family, of having someone who loved him for who he is and who he will give his love to even though that person may become his weakness made him to want the child, so even though he knew Shen Yi was in a relationship with Mu Chen, he ended it and married her, he also forced her to give birth to the child. At first he regretted it but the first day he saw his baby girl all the regrets and doubts went away, he knew he was in trouble because now he has a weakness.

Li Lingyun thought Shen Yi would come around but she never did, it has been three years and a month from now Li Xiao will be celebrating her fouth birthday, he wondered if he would see his daughter sad and teary eyes if her mother did not attend her birthday once again. At times like this, he wished Shen Yi had a look alike, then he would have gotten rid of her a long time ago. And how would he tell his daughter that she would never see her aunt Lin again. How was he going to tell her that Lin Yan was dead.

With too much on his mind, Li Lingyun sigh and carried his daughter on his arms as he said "Let's go and meet your mummy."

Li Xiao nodded in excitement.

Lin Yan opened her eyes slowly and she felt pain in her whole body. She was shocked that she was still alive and looking at her surrounding it was obvious that she was in a hospital. She placed her hands on her belly and hoped her child was still alive. And when a nurse came in, the first question she asked was "Is my child alright?"

The nurse smiled and said "Mrs Li, what are you saying? You are not pregnant. You were involved in a car accident because you were driving in full speed, please don't do that again."

Lin Yan was confused with what she was saying so she asked once again "I was driving? But wasn't I hit by a car?"

"Perhaps you are still confused, it is normal and you gave the hospital such a big scared, your heart stopped for two minutes, it took the doctor a while to revived you."

Before Lin Yan could ask anymore questions, the door opened and she saw Li Lingyun coming in and giving her a very cold look, there was no emotion in his gaze and she wondered why he was looking at her like that.

When the nurse saw him, she said with a smile "Mr Li, you don't need to worry about your wife, she is doing well, she just need to stay in the hospital for a day before she gets discharged."

Li Lingyun gave a polite smile to the nurse and nodded and after she left, he looked at the woman who has cause him nothing but trouble in his life as he asked "Do you think it was fun? Drinking while the day was still bright and driving pass the speed limit. Tell me Shen Yi, was it fun?"

Shen Yi? Why was he calling her Shen Yi and why did the nurse just said she was his wife? What is happening? Why did the nurse say she was never pregnant? More questions kept pouring into her minds.

Li Lingyun saw Shen Yi looking at him in a daze and he wondered if the accident removed some screws in her brains, because the Shen Yi he knew would have retorted with hate and mockery in her eyes. Before he could say anything else the door opened and his daughter came in screaming "Mummy"

Mummy? Li Xiao loud voice bought Lin Yan out of her daze but why was Li Xiao calling her mummy? What is actually going on here? She looks at her side and she saw her reflection staring right back at her.

The VIP rooms in Meng Imperial Hospital has always had a mirror on the patient side so when Lin Yan mistakely looked at her side, she felt she was going crazy. That has to be the case? because why would she look like Shen Yi right now. Why was she in Shen Yi body?
