Chapter Thirty Seven

Sabrina, who couldn't bring herself to go back home sober, got herself drunk before hailing a cab to Sawyer's house.

After the driver pulled over in front of the house, she got out of the car before paying him.

Even though she was drunk, she didn't miss her steps as she entered the living room.

Atticus, who had been waiting for her for hours, stood up before walking up to her. "Where have you..."

His voice trailed off as he perceived the smell of alcohol from her. "Were you drinking?"

"Not bad. She is showing—"

Atticus shot Alexander a death glare before he could complete his words. He turned to face Sabrina before carrying her like a baby.

Even though she was drunk, she could feel her weight on Atticus's arms as he carried her like a baby. She tried pulling herself down but couldn't.

"Let go! I don't want to follow you anywhere! You are a liar!" She cried out, making Atticus chuckle.
