Chapter 17 truth

Brian lowered his head, he knew that he must tell the truth no matter what, he also knew this day was meant to come, he sat on the bed next to Melody `` There's something you must know " Brian said.

Melody raises her eyebrows offering Brian a questioning gaze " Will that help me to bring my son back? Melody asked, wiping her tears with the back of her hand, she knew something was going on, she wasn't foolish to notice anything.

Brian explained everything to her that's happened in her life, how they first met, and that Alexander was his son, he told her everything about her father the King.

Melody felt like the world was spinning around her, tears dripping on her face "I.. " Melody's mouth hung open, she wanted to say something but no words came out. Everything that happened in her life flashed through her mind like everything was happening in the present.

Brian's body tensed up, looking at Melody in this state " I'm sorry, I could not control myself when I found out that you were my soul mate, I truly love you, I erased your memory to keep you safe, please, believe me, I didn't mean to hurt you " Brian said

Melody did not know what to think, everything was too much for her to handle, she could not process everything in her head " Please all of you leave, I need some time alone. '' Melody said, resting her head on the headboard.

Brian swallowed hard looking at Melody, his heart aching, he knew that this would happen one day " He got off the bed with a heavy heart, and walked to where his mother and the prophet were" Let's go " he said with trembling lips.

Melody was left alone in the room, everything started making sense to her, how Brian came to her house, the loss of her memories, everything started playing in her head like it was happening at the moment " My son, I have to save him no matter what, but how will I do that? " Melody sobbed, covering her face with her hands.

It was already evening when Melody opened the door, to Brian's room, her eyes were red because of crying

" Melody, are you okay," Naina said as she stood up rapidly and walked towards Melody who was walking down the stairs.

Melody opened her mouth. She wanted to tell her that she wasn't fine at all, but no words came out of her mouth, other than tears which were dripping on her face" My son," only words came out of her mouth. She almost fell down the stairs but Naina held her with her hand supporting her, she was too weak.

Naina helped her to sit on the couch and sat next to her " Melody, you will have to be strong, you will get your son back no matter what " Naina said rubbing Melody's back.

Melody was broken inside, the pain was too much to handle for her " How will I get him?, I can't live without him, please help me to find him please " Melody sobbed her body tensed to ward off shaking, she looked so broken like the other part of her body was missing.

Naina took a long painted sign " the only way to save your son is to go underwater where your father is, he is the one who took you, son " Naina said.

Melody looked around the room searching for Brian, but she did not see him anywhere. Her eyes met with Patricia, who was gazing at her intensely. Melody did not bother about her deadly glare. " Where is he? " she asked.

Naina Mind linked Brian telling him to come to the dining room, and within a second Brian appeared in front of them. As much as Melody hated him for now, right now she wanted nothing but to save her son " You should take me where my father is " Melody said standing up from the couch.

Brian rubbed the back of his neck, his body felt like it was overheated because of so much pain and anger that he could not protect his own son " You can't go there unprepared, that man is ruthless he might kill you, I can't lose you " Brian said.

Melody glared at Brian, with a cold gaze. " I said take me where the so-called dad of mine is, I can't sit here without knowing how my son is right now, I will have to fight for my son" Melody yelled hitting Brian on the chest with her tiny weak hands, his body collapsing in his arm.

Brian hugged her tightly. Melody sobbed until she fell asleep.

"Ha! ha! ha! ha! " The king laughed like a fool when he saw Alexander. " You came, I was waiting for you," the king said with a smirk.

Alexander took a long pause looking at the king "Who are you, and why did you bring me here you foolish old man! " Alexander yelled, he was always rude to bad strangers.

The King glared at the little boy, who was in front of him, his face red because of anger, no one has ever talked to him in this manner " How dare you to talk to me in this manner, do you know who I am? I will kill you " the king said, fuming in anger.

Alexander sighed heavily looking at the king, he wanted to be with his mother, but he was keeping him here" Do you think I care about that? if you aren't going to take me back to my mom then stop making noise and yelling, you are giving me a headache. " Alexandra said, walking near the chair that was on the side of the throne, he sat down resting his head on the chair.

The king's face reddened in anger looking at the little boy who was challenging him, he gritted his teeth in embarrassment looking at the people in the castle who were laughing at him " How dare you say that to me?" he yelled raising his hand, he wanted to hit him with his thunder strike, but nothing happened to the boy, his powers did not work on him, which makes him the stronger amongst the all of them even him the king himself

Everyone widened their eyes in shock, seeing their king unable to hit a little boy with his thunder powers. It was impossible because the king was the only strong person underwater. The Goddess herself created him. How come he was powerless when it came to this little boy?

Alexander closed his eyes, thinking about his mother, he did not even realise what was happening around him.

The King opened his eyes widely, looking at Alexander who was relaxing, he did not expect such a tiny boy to defeat him. " Take him away, " the king yelled.

Alexander glared at the two guards who were walking toward him. He was feeling scared but he did not want to show it. " Don't even think about taking another step near me. Stay where you are " Alexander raised his hand pointing at the two guards.

The guard wanted to lift their legs so that they could take another step toward Alexander, but their legs stuck to the ground, and they could not move.

The king's mouth fell open, he felt a sudden coldness that hit his core, and he regretted bringing him to the castle.
