Chapter 15 What is wrong with my son

"What is wrong with my son?"

Melody ran where her son was and knelt where her son had fallen. Her eyes were full of tears, her hands trembling in fear " Alexander open your eyes " Melody said sobbing. Brian froze when he saw Alexander on the floor, he snapped out of his daze and ran to where Melody was, he carried Alexander into his room and put him on the bed Melody followed behind him, with tears in her eyes. "What should I do? my son " Melody sobbed.

Brian was trembling in fear" Go to the kitchen and boil water, " Brian said, chasing her out of the room. He knew that Alexander was very hungry and that only blood could save him as he was a half-vampire, he needed to drink blood at least once in 3 months.

Melody walked out of the room with uneven steps, her eyes were full of tears, and she did not know what was going on.

When Melody was out of sight, Brian mind linked to Samuel, and in no time Samuel appeared in the room with a glass of blood.

Samuel was confused when he saw Alexander lying on the bed, his eyes widened in shock " What happened to him ?'' Samuel asked, handing the glass of blood to Brian.

Brian took the glass of blood and sat on the bed, next to Alexander, he raised his head and laid him on his lap so that he could give him blood to drink.

Samuel widened in shock, once again," Brian, is he 5 years already?" Samuel asked, staring at Brian.

Brian shot Samuel a deadly glare " Samuel you talk too much, of course, he is 5 years old, why would I make him drink blood? if he is not " Brian asked impatiently

Samuel looked at Brian with a pinched expression and shook his head. " Do you always have to Be rude? I was just asking, does his mother know? " Samuel asked.

Brian frowned looking at Samuel" Leave " Brian said coldly.

Samuel shook his head in disbelief and disappeared out of the room. As soon as Brian finished giving Alexander blood, he opened his eyes, his fangs out and his teeth were sharp, in no time they disappeared like they never appeared.

Alexander looked around the room and his eyes fell on Brian who was sitting next to him.

Alexander smiled when he was Brian " Uncle Brian, you are here, what happened to me? Alexander asked, looking at Brina.

Brian pinched Alexander's cheeks, playfully, with a smile " Nothing happened to you, you are a strong guy, remember" Brian said.

Alexander smiled even wider " I'm a big boy, where is mommy?" Alexander asked, looking around the room.

Before Brian could reply, the door was opened and Melody walked inside the room and closed the door behind her, her face looking pale and full of tears. She was about to walk toward the bed when she saw, Brian and Alexandra smiling at each other. The bowl in her hands fell to the floor and ran towards the bed " Alexander, are you all right, are you feeling any pain? " Melody asked as soon as she reached the bed.

Alexander looked at his mother for a brief moment " Mom don't talk to me if you don't do what I want " Alexander tilted his head to the side and pursued his lips

Brian narrowed his eyes looking at both mother and son " Alexander what do you want " Brian asked looking at Melody.

Melody froze in place and swallowed hard. " Sir don't listen to him, he is talking nonsense, don't mind him " Melody rapidly said, preventing her son from speaking.

Brian crossed his arm, looking at his mother, annoyance was visible on his face. " I'm not talking nonsense, I really want you to get married to my mom Uncle Brian, don't you like my mom?" Alexander asked, looking at Brian.

Brian raised his eyebrows, looking at Alexander, he was totally amused" Of course, I like you mom, who wouldn't want such a beautiful young lady " Brian said grinning ear to ear.

Melody was left speechless. she cleared her throat " Sir don't mind my son please.. he is talking nonsense, please can you leave " Melody said with a flush that creeps across her cheeks.

Alexander glared at his mother coldly " If you don't do what I want, then I will not eat anything " he said.

Brian smiled looking at his son, he never imagined that he would make things easy for him " I don't mind marrying your mother " Brian blurted out.

Melody stumbled over Brian's words and her eyes widened in shock looking at Brian in disbelief" Mr. Williams what are you saying?" Melody asked looking at Brian

Brian smirked looking at Melody" I said, I won't mind Marrying you, if your son wants us to get married, you don't want him fainting again, do you? Brian asked looking at Melody.

Melody's heart started beating fast because of the strong eye contact she was receiving from Brian.

Alexander's eyes beamed with happiness" Do you want to be my dad, I'm so happy, yey, yey! " Alexander shouted, jumping on the bed.

Brian chuckled looking at Alexander" I can't let you starve to death, If your mom does not object I have no problem with being your dad " Brian said, his heart jumping in joy.

Alex shot his mother a deadly glare waiting for her answer.

" Fine Alexander, I can't let you starve can I? " Melody said with a bitter smile and walked out of the room. Brian took a deep breath looking at the door, Melody used to walk out.

' I'm so happy that my son made it easy for me, I promise to make it up to you Melody' Brian thought.

Alexander studied Brian's facial expression for a brief moment" Uncle Brian, do you really want to marry my mom " Alexander asked

Brian raised his eyebrows offering Alexander a questioning gaze " Aren't you worried about your Mom, who is sad ?" Brian could not help but ask.

" Don't worry about her, she will come around, I'm her son after all " Brian said with a smile.

Brian parted his lips in disbelief, he could not believe that this little boy was 5 years old " Okey if you say so, I don't mind marrying your mom. " Brian said

*Back at the castle, underwater*

" My lord the boy drank blood today, what should we do, ? " the guard asked in fear

King James glared at the guard with a deadly gaze, his face red in anger "If I can't make him the king, you must kill him and his mother at any cost " the king said with no emotions in his tone.

The Guards' faces turned white hearing what the king said " My lord, that girl is your daughter are you sure that she must die with her son? She can still be a queen. she is your blood, please consider this decision my lord " the guard said, he was breaking in a cold sweat.

The King glared at the guard, his face reddened in anger " Don't forget your place, do as I tell you " the king said coldly, which made everyone in the hall tremble in fear.

" Do you think a king will kill his own daughter"

"What do you think, this man is brutal"

" I just wish we had a new king, I can't live every day holding my heart in my hands because of fear "

" Just because the Goddess created him does not mean, he should be cruel towards us "

" I think we should save our ass by escaping"

" You are right, we can live in a human land like our princess"

People in the ball started mumbling.

" QUIT " the king yelled in a cold and loud voice that everyone kept quiet.
