The sorceress POV
"How?" He asked staring wildly at me
"This little baby is the cause of our problem in this kingdom, get rid of her and everything will come back to normal" I said moving my gaze from her to her father
He stared at her for some moments, "but she is lifeless, what's the need of getting rid of her?" He asked
I smiled "this is an old trick my king, trying to fool me?" I asked raising a brow
"I...I..I can't kill her, I can't get rid of her, she's the only thing I have left in this world" he said
"I can see you love her my king" I said, he turned his gaze to me
"She's the only thing I've got in this
world, my wife is gone, I have only my daughter left, isn't there any other way to stop this?" He asked
I exhaled, and turned by back to him, facing the door "if it was to be some random wolves you'd order for them to be killed immediately, but here you are trying to protect your daughter even when she's the cause of the problem in this kingdom" i said turning back to him the moment I said the last word
"I'd do anything to protect her, she's the heir of this kingdom, and she should live for them" he said
"That's the main reason why she should die" I shouted my eyes almost bugling out of their sockets
The shock on his face said it all, he wasn't expecting such reactions from me, and I regretted acting in such a manner
"What do you mean" he asked with furrowed brows
"My king, there are two ways to this I've communed with the gods before coming down here on getting your invitation...."
King gedrick's POV
"The moment I heard there were two ways we could handle this problem, my eyes lit with joy, I looked down at my lovely one "you might get a chance to live" I said in my heart
"What are the two ways"I asked
"One is to kill her, and the other is to send her to the human world, that way she won't be much of a bother to us" she said
"I can't let her get to the human world, how will I get to know how she's doing, I don't want her becoming one of those human rascals" I said
"That's the only way out, send her to the human world under the care of a human mother, that way she'd be protected and away from the seeker's" the sorceress said
What she said was sought of true, if she grew up in the human world she'll be safe and away from the seeker's, they were spirit who comes down from heaven to see children's future, they knew when a child is born and would visit the parents and child to give their blessings to the child
"And if they come how do we refuse them" I asked
A wry smile crept to her lips "don't worry my king I have a plan" she said
The human world
A fair lady in blue long hair stared at the mirror admiring her self, she sang and danced in front of the mirror
Her face was beautiful and round, a voluptuous lips and an electric blue eye, her jawline was curved, a straight ear and pointed nose, she sang and danced beautifully
A portal opened stopping her from what she was doing, her smiling face turned into a slight frown
"What brings you here again?" She asked turning to face the figure in the middle of the portal"
"Long time friend" the figure said smiling
"Long time?, The last time I checked you were here a week ago and you call it long time?" She asked
"Lulu, I don't get it, why are you vexed, you don't know, I might be here with good news" the figure replied
"Good news my foot" she spat "whenever you're here I know you need help from me so spit it out" Lulu said
"Fine" the figure replied stepping out of the portal as it closed "I need your help and you're not wrong, but this time you should be thanking me" the figure said
"For what exactly?" Lulu asked combing her fluffy hair
"Well it worked, I was able to convince him to let his daughter come to the human world" the figure said and Lulu gasped
"What!!, You did?" She asked her jaw dropping
"Yes"the figure said smiling
"So where is she"Lulu asked her eyes travelling impatiently round the sorceresses body
"She's here"the sorceress said pulling out a shawl from underneath her coat, she'd been holding the baby in her hands all along using her coat to protect the little girl from the harsh powers of the portal
"Omg!"lulu squealed in excitement taking the baby from the sorceress " she looks beautiful just like her mom" Lulu added admiring her
"Yes, so all I need is for you to take a good care of her" the sorceress said and turned to leave when Lulu pulled her back
"Well, how about the next plan, what are you going to do about it" she asked
"I'm already getting him close to me, just a little more push and I'll become the next Queen"the sorceress said smiling
"Yeah, I know you've been in love with him and now is just the right time to add some little spice and boom, you're with your lover, just be careful and avoid whatever would get in your way" Lulu adviced the sorceress
"Sure, I will" she said with a bow and entered the already opened portal
"Wow, I'll so much love you"Lulu said feeling happy, "after years of loneliness, I finally find a child to call my own" she said petting the baby
"Hmmmmm, what should I call you?" She asked her hands in her jaw "yes I'll call you lunar" she said and the baby yawned and opened her eyes
