After driving like she was a cast in fast and furious. Gisele finally arrived at the location. Fo reasons she wasn't sure of, Aunty Claudia was not at home rather she was Lodge in a hotel.

Gisele adjusted the nose mask on her face as she walked into the hotel. The last time she had gone out with Aunty Claudia it had ended with their pictures being pasted on the internet. She had to take precautions this time around.

"Good morning ma'am how may I help you?" The receptionist asked.

"Mrs Claudia, she's expecting me" Gisele announced. The receptionist eyes lit up after hearing the name. Her eyes scanned Gisele hungry to see what she truly looked like, but the girl had half her face covered with a nose mark.

The receptionist picked up the phone wanting to call Claudia's room and confirm. "What name should I mention?"

"Xiao G" Gisele replied, she wasn't stupid. There was no way she would tell the girl her real name. It took a few minutes and the girl confirmed from Claudia.

"Room 1067 it's on the last floor. You can take the elevator on the right"

Gisele followed the instructions and in no time she was standing before the door. She hadn't even rang the room bell when the door opened and she was greeted by the sorry sight of the middle aged woman.

Swollen red eye, puffed cheeks and a slightly disheveled hair. This was no where close to how she used to see the woman before now. She stepped in and closed the door behind her.

"Aunt_" her words were caught off as the woman had thrown herself into the girls arm.

"Xiao G" Claudia cried pitifully. It ha been hours since the dinner but she still couldn't stop pherself from crying. The manor had been very uncomfortable for her that she had lodged into a hotel in the dead of he night. She felt hurt and betrayed. Angry too but she didn't even know who she was angry at.

"Aunty what's wrong? Come let's sit" she led the woman to the cushion and they both sat. Slowly the cries down died like it had done on the phone.

"Aunty can you tell me what's wrong?" She was curious to know what has made the woman cry like this.

Claudia kept mum for a few seconds then she began talking "They brought him back. That child they brought him back to the family. He promised...he promised we would never have to deal with him again, yet he brought him back as one of us!" She complained.

There was no need to ask. Gisele wasn't too dense to not understand what her words meant. Aunty Claudia's family had brought back an illegitimate child. She didn't know how to comfort thee woman. She for one knew what it was like to be an illegitimate child do she couldn't bring herself to speak bad of this child that had caused the woman pain.

"Xiao G I sound petty don't I? I really don't hate the boy, it just... Everytime I see him I remember that my husband had cheated on me. I remember his scheming mother and I can't help but hate him. How could I ever accept the fact that my husband cheated on me? Do you think it's possible?"

Gisele shook her head "I don't think it's possible. Everytime you see him, you would forever remember that but it's left for you to decide if that fact would affect your judgement and how you treat him. my family didn't take that fact likely with me. " Claudia looked at the girl.

Who wouldn't have thought the girl was also an illegitimate child?

"I'm not telling you to be nice to him but speaking from experience, it's not nice being reminded and blamed for mistakes your parents made. I also know what it feels like yearning for a family even when one is right before your eyes. If I have a chance I would make sure no one gets to feel that way ever again. It's really not nice. But this is not about me, it's about you. Look within you and make your decision. Everything is clearer to see when you look at it from all angles. Somethings are also less painful when you accept it as they come"

They fell into silence. Gisele didn't say anything else, she waited for the woman to digest her words.

Claudia thought of what the girl had said, she couldn't help feel comforted by it. Gisele was right, she shouldn't hold it against the boy, her husband had equally made the mistake like the boy's mother. Plus she should trust Grandpa Hugo, he wouldn't bring him back if he wasn't sure he wouldn't be a problem. She should probably just let the anguish go and flow with the current of things. Thanks to the girl who had brought peace to her heart with her considerate words.

"Thanks Xiao G" She said with a smile and wiped the tear from the corner of her eyes.

Gisele smiled back. She was happy to see that her words had brightened up the woman's face.

"Could you keep me company for a few more minutes?" Claudia requested and Gisele agreed. She was already here, so a few more minutes with the lady won't hurt.

The two of them sat and began talking of little things. Claudia was more curious to know about Gisele's family so she asked to hear the story. Gisele had no choice but to narrate her last years to the woman. Obviously leaving out the part of the debt and also her marriage to Devon, she had come up with an excuse why she no longer lived with her family. From there they continued discussing about everyother things. Gisele told her about the movie deal and the woman was genuinely happy for her.

By the time Claudia fell asleep, it was morning already, the sun was starting to come out and Gisele could hear the streets start to get busy. Her eyes ached from the lack of sleep. Yawning she left a note on tissue for Aunty Claudia then walked out of the room.

Just as she walked out of the hotel building, a bunch of men in Black suit surrounded her. Her heart tensed.

"What is going on?" She asked, adjusting the mask on her face. The scene was gathering a lot of attention from those walking around. The last thing she wants is seeing her face on the internet for a scandal. She hasn't even made her debut yet.

"Ma'am master asked us to bring you back"

Master? Devon?

Gisele wouldn't lie she was scared when she heard this. For him to personally seek her out, he must be boiling at the moment.

"There's no need for that. I'm headed home already, let me just get my car" She tried to make an excuse. The thought of running away did cross her mind. Or perhaps going to find that Old man. He surely would protect her from his grandson's wrath.

"Your car has been sent home already. You can just come with us" this was not a suggestion cause they were already leading her to the black car with tinted glasses. It felt like she was being led to the executioner stand to have her head chopped off.

She got into the car and then it swiftly made its way to Easton Villa. She wondered what she was to face.

Getting into the house. The air was filled with a stale mood. Everyone she met had a heavy expression on their face. Even Aunty Lou couldn't look her in the eyes.

What was going on? She had stepped out for just a couple hours and things had gone from bad to worst.

Being led to her room by a bunch of bodyguards was not a pretty sight. It was like she had committed the worst crime there ever was. She had only just gone to see someone, must they make her feel pathetic!

"Where is Devon?" She questioned angrily to the bodyguard standing in front of her door.

"I'm right here" That languid voice rang out and Gisele saw him making his way to the her door. Dressed in black suit with white inner shirt and a red tie. His hair looked unkept but in a very dreamy way. Like those manga toon anime boys.

For every step he took closer, Gisele took two step backwards till they were finally both in her room.

"What is all this about?" She folded her hand in front of her chest.

"Where did you go?" He went straight to the point. Even still his question baffled her.

Why was he bothered with where she went?

"To see a friend. I don't see why that's a problem?" Gisele arched her brows and stood her ground. Intimidation has never been in her dictionary.

Looking at the girl's provocative stance, Devon laughed icily. By the time his laughed died down he was making slow steps towards her.

"You broke my rules" He said through locked teeth. The look in his eyes were cold and is face devoid of any emotions. He looked frightening like a wrath god that had come to seek revenge.
